For the rear, an end carrier is included for mounting additional headlights, handles or other accessories. The modular structure over the entire area allows for a flexible yet precise arrangement of lashing points, thereby making your roof load much more secure. Fittings are inserted in the lashing grid on the side or on top of the rack. Single stud fittings are recommended for lighter loads. If it gets heavier, choose ring fittings with double studs. As the name implies, two studs instead of one are inserted into the lashing grid, effectively halving the forces exerted on each point in the grid. The CargoBear’s panels feature a perforated non-slip design, contributing further to your load safety. The modules are supplied with all the necessary fastening material. Self-adhesive anti-slip pads Perforated metal sheets, as used on our CargoBear roof racks, on ladders, steps and other climbing aids on vehicles, are much safer than regular metal surfaces. Additional anti-slip pads, however, offer an unbeatable safety advantage, especially in wet or dirty conditions. The anti-slip pads are designed to perfectly match the hole patterns and due to its black color, they also compliment the overall look of our products. The material for the pads originates in the sports sector and has been widely used on skateboards, for example. For the CargoBear, we offer ready-cut, self-adhesive anti-slip pads measuring 16 x 24 cm individually or in sets of 3, 6 or 12. Please note: the multi-packs provide increasing savings regarding the price per item. Since the pads are manufactured with in-house laser cutting technology, we can supply custom formats on request.

Upgrade rear door damper for Suzuki Jimny 2 GJ/HJ Rear doors on off-road vehicles have to be heavyweight athletes, as they often carry spare wheels and other equipment. Especially when the vehicle is parked on uneven surfaces, opening tailgates – or keeping them open – can be a difficult and heavy task. For the Suzuki Jimny 2 (from model year 2018), we offer an easy-to-fit plug & play solution that does not require any modifications to the vehicle itself. The replacement damper for the rear door is calibrated to an opening angle of approximately 3. That means once you’ve pulled the handle and opened the door to that angle, the damper automatically and gently pushes the door fully open and keeps it in position – even when you’re parked at an angle on slopes or in off-road terrain. Another advantage of the heavy duty damper is the wider opening angle (slightly over 90°) when compared to the original part.

Roof console for Suzuki Jimny 2, type GJ On our passionate mission to optimize the storage space in the Suzuki Jimny II in the best possible way, we have set our sights on one of the last remaining spaces in the interior. Having covered the rear area well with the CargoBear shelf, cargo net, tailgate organizer, seat covers and modular window panels, we are left with an empty piece of headliner between the driver and front passenger that is crying out for a storage upgrade. Our roof console made of 2 mm thick aluminum is approx. 73 cm long and 18 cm wide, making it ideal for strapping or screwing on flat and/or long items of equipment, MOLLE bags and the like. Mounting the bracket is extremely simple, regardless of whether a cargo net is already installed or not. In the former case, the retaining plate of the console is attached directly to the strip of the cargo net. If the headlining is still bare, there are two plugged mounting points at the corresponding points at the factory which are used. At the front, the interior light must be removed briefly in order to make two small holes in the trim for the screws. Once the screws have been secured with the nuts, the interior lighting can be refitted.  The roof console for the Jimny 2 is available in black, coyote or gray to match the roof net versions.    

Solar panel for bonnet Next generation solar cells are increasingly integrated into structural components. Instead of separate, awkwardly mounted modules on the roof of a house, for example, the roof tiles themselves function as solar panels. Our PV modules for the hoods of 4x4s and vans follow this principle. While they do not yet replace the hood, they are so thin (only 3 mm) and so flexible that they precisely fit the shape of the hood – making them hard to recognize as an extra add-on. In addition, they are also extremely aerodynamic and robust enough to even step on them if needed. The hood modules for Defenders Td5 and Td4, New Defender, Jimny 2, Mercedes G-Class and Sprinter have an output of between 75 and 90 W at 12 V, depending on the model. Your only requirement is sufficient sunlight to generate enough power for the primary and secondary batteries in the car during the day. This in turn enables you to reliably operate all the devices needed in a camper or expedition vehicle: navigation and communication devices, laptop, cooking equipment, refrigerator and much more. Your equipment always remains fully functional and a sufficient charge of the starter battery is also guaranteed. Mounting the PV module and wiring it up to the batteries in the vehicle are equally easy DIY jobs. The included adhesive tape is all you need to attach the panel to the hood while the intelligent charge controller and the adapter allow for plug & play electric installation. Note: as the connection is individual, the power cables may have to be extended.

Our cargo mesh for the Suzuki Jimny II (from MY2018) will generate a lot of storage room in a place that’s rarely used: under the roof in the cargo bay.To attach the 93 x 60 cm netting to the roof trim, all you need to do is mount two aluminum frame elements in the front and the back. They are the same color as the mesh for a seamless look. The elastic cargo mesh can then be attached to the frame and the interior grab handles with 12 adjustable straps. Universal storage space set for the spare wheel The high school of storage space optimization really only begins when all the obvious places like the interior or trunk or the roof have long since ceased to offer anything. With our practical and universally applicable spare wheel tray, even the fifth wheel on the car becomes an equipment carrier. The practical storage solution for the spare wheel at the rear consists of two components that can be ordered individually (here in the store) or as a set. The base carrier with the tensioning strap is adjustable and thus fits all common off-road tire sizes. If one mounts only the basic carrier (sideways), so e.g. starting aids, wheel chocks and other accessories can be screwed to the carrier or attached with straps. If you want to mount the tray, i.e. the basket, the base carrier must be on top of the wheel. The loading area of the storage basket is a generous 80cm x 38cm, so that even larger equipment can find its place here. If this area is not enough, you can also turn the platform around and attach with the edge down. Raised edges and circumferential lashing holes ensure problem-free load security. Base carrier and storage basket are black powder-coated, so that the look of the spare wheel tray harmonizes perfectly with any off-roader. Base carrier: approx. Rear ladder for Suzuki Jimny 2 type GJ BJ 2018 / HJ Boxier, tougher and even more capable, that’s the Suzuki Jimny 2 (GJ/HJ MY 2019). Even if cargo space has grown considerably in comparison with the previous model, optimizing your usable load capacity is still crucial if you want to get the most out of this little giant. One of the many strengths of the Jimny II is its great 360 panoramic view, rare for a 4x4. But the large windows – relative to car size – have one big disadvantage: the heat build-up on hot days is considerable and that’s especially problematic for a car that is a preferred mode of transport for pets and working dogs. Off-road vehicles are not designed for aerodynamically perfect airflow. So far, so obvious and normally it doesn’t matter anyway because in a 4x4 you’re unlikely to reach the speeds where it becomes problematic. But there is one aspect where the rustic box shape of Jimny 2 does show the effects of aerodynamic neglect and that’s the nearly rectangular shape and the straight and vertical positioning of the windows. There’s more than one reason in a 4x4 to crack your windows a little, whether you’re off-roading or it’s cold and wet. Your classic Jimny windows for instance are misting up because the ventilation famously isn’t up to the job of defogging them. And that’s when you see the effect we’ve talked about in the beginning. The drag around the cracked windows is not only loud, it also pulls more dust and water inwards and that’s pretty annoying, even for hardcore off-roaders.
