Rear ladders have two functions: they are designed to make access to a roof rack easier and safer. In terms of safety, especially ladders made from round steel bars, e.g. the ones for the Suzuki Jimny II, can be significantly improved. Our set of 5 self-adhesive anti-slip strips ensure that the steps remain safe when it’s wet or when wearing dirty shoes.
The adhesive strips are extremely robust and durable. With dimensions of 13.5 x 2.5 cm, they are specifically designed to fit the round ladder of the Jimny, but can also be used on other similarly sized steel bar components, of course.

The popular running boards for the new Ford Ranger from model year 2023 are here: Robust Rockslider design made of aluminum, the front panel is reinforced with “dimple die” beading. The steps can be unscrewed or replaced if necessary. They are fitted to the vehicle using the existing threaded inserts on the underside of the bodywork.
The decision was made to use a lightweight construction, which is why the Rockslider is a functional cabin guard made of aluminum. It is not suitable for a jack, but provides more than adequate protection in moderately difficult terrain.

It’s probably fair to say that the sliding rear windows on the Defender are more of a charming anachronism than a fully usable window. Due to their size and the horizontal sliding direction, it makes little sense to have them open while driving – especially in rainy weather or dusty conditions. And while parked, they are an open invitation for burglars and thieves.That’s why we have expanded our range of ventilation plates and are now offering them for both sides of the rear sliding windows in the old Landy (up to MY 2016). The plates have a folding mechanism in the middle that allows for vertical positioning in the open window. The base carrier with the tensioning strap is adjustable and thus fits all common off-road tire sizes. If one mounts only the basic carrier (sideways), so e.g. starting aids, wheel chocks and other accessories can be screwed to the carrier or fastened with straps. If you want to mount the tray, i.e. the basket, the base carrier must be on top of the wheel. The loading area of the storage basket is a generous 80cm x 38cm, so that even larger equipment can find its place here. The original windscreen support brackets on the Defender are one of those details on the car that sooner or later cry out for cosmetic surgery. All kinds of corrosion – by exposure, metal contact, environmental or automotive chemicals – affect the parts and simply make them look shabby. The result is rust, peeling paint and streaking on the bodywork. Fortunately, replacing the brackets is one of the easiest jobs on the Landy.
Our replacement brackets are available in two versions: black powder-coated or anodized aluminum. Both processes - anodizing and powder coating - ensure extremely resistant and durable sealing of the aluminum parts. During anodizing, electrolysis creates a porous surface structure, which is particularly suitable to absorb color pigments. In a last step, the anodizing is then compacted and thus sealed. However, black anodized aluminum tends to fade, which is why we have opted for powder coating for the deep black option. If you’re aiming for a look other than black or aluminum gray, you can of course paint it yourself or have it painted. You can also achieve your desired custom effect with our range of RAPTOR products. Or simply order the parts right here in the store with black powder coating from a professional for little extra cost.

If your Landy is not just a Chelsea tractor and regularly has to tow more than one kind of trailer, the odds are you will need an adjustable tow hitch. The first advantage over a static solution, of course, is the fact that you can adjust the height very easily just by moving slider and pin. Secondly, and more conveniently, you can also permanently mount several different tow systems to a number of slider plates. That means switching coupling types like tow ball, jaw or NATO is literally a matter of seconds. Pull the pin out, switch the slider plate, push the pin back in. Done. No screws, no nuts or bolts to fasten.
The adjustable tow hitch is available for TD5/TD4 90, 110 and 110/130 high capacity pickup and comes as a complete assembly kit with the necessary chassis struts, the bracket for the rear cross member, mounts for electrics, slider frame, slider plate with tow ball, a choice of 7- or 13-pin electric coupling and all necessary fastening materials.
Most importantly: the assembly kit is certified by an attached E-number (E11 for UK as country of origin) and that means the parts are road legal and you are not obliged to get additional certification or separate technical approval as may be required otherwise in your respective country. The number with the capital “E” stands for a general type approval within the ECE treaty. This includes the EU, the EEC, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan and many other countries worldwide. To be on the safe side in traffic stops, however, it is advisable to have the E-number on the part well visible and the part documents should preferably be with your registration papers in the vehicle.
