Wishbone Kit för Land Rover Discovery 3 & 4 The wishbones in your car are solid and fairly robust components and are doing a heavy job in the wheel suspension. The transverse arms are usually made from solid metal or welded sheet components. It takes forceful physical impact, as in accidents or when hitting rocks while offroading, to actually damage them. What makes wishbones subject to wear and tear and eventual degradation are the bearings and rubber bushes, which are firmly attached to the metal for safety reasons. Once the rubber becomes porous or starts to tear, the wishbone becomes too slack and can cause further damage, ultimately making your car unsafe to drive. That’s why damaged wishbones should be replaced in time. Allowing for the relative cheapness of the metal components and the difficulty to replace only the rubber bushes, it is recommended to exchange the wishbones as a whole. In Discovery 3’s and 4’s the wishbones are especially prone to degradation due to the heavy weight of the car. Damage can appear already after relatively low mileage. We are providing front and rear wishbone kits for Discos separately or in a bundle with a complete set of wheel bearings. Our kits contain original Land Rover parts as well as high performance components by Meyle, some of them reinforced for armored cars.

Repair panel rear sump for Defender 110 Td4, Td5 and TDI Rust thrives best when it is hidden, especially when corners, angles or edges favour the constant accumulation of water and damp dirt. This is why Defender 110 Station Wagons often have hidden rust spots under the rear seat bench mount or on the frame holder. To avoid having to replace the entire base plate of the rear tub in the event of advanced contact corrosion, we now offer an exclusive, easy-to-fit repair kit for the particularly susceptible area under the seat bench. The kit consists of the main plate, two side parts and sufficient rivets. For installation (see pictures), the existing welding points on the rear tub are first drilled out. The sheet metal is then simply positioned accordingly, glued in place with body sealant and fixed at the sides with clamps. Once dry, drill the sheet metal at the pre-drilled welding points and insert the rivets. The two side panels are then attached in the same way. Galvanised doors for Land Rover Defender from model year 1983-2016 in Land Rover Series Style Everything was better in the past? Not necessarily, but these Defender conversion kits for Series 2/3 style doors are not only for retro fans but definitely add a lot of quality and functionality that has become lost along the way in the standard Defender doors from model year 1983 onwards. So, what are the advantages that these Series-style two-part doors have over the Defender originals? Apart from the fact that they come considerably cheaper, most of the pros lie in the design and the construction of the two-piece doors. For a start, the lift-up handle is recessed and doesn’t protrude as with the plastic push-button handle on the standard doors. This improves safety because they won’t catch on obstacles while off-roading or navigating narrow passages. The lift-up handles also grant better theft prevention as they come with a stronger locking mechanism. Furthermore, the door’s design also creates more space inside the cab, a fact that tall drivers will appreciate immensely. Soft top models, especially, will profit from the completely removable door tops. The slide windows themselves offer quality glazing and one thing you never need to worry about again is the winding mechanism underneath the door trim. In terms of quality and assembly these conversion kits leave nothing to be desired. The frames of door tops and the bottoms are hot-dip galvanized and the aluminum skins adhere to original factory specs. The split retro doors will fit all Defender Models from 90s to 130s and model years from 1983 to 2016. They come with all the required fastenings, handles, locks, strikers and seals. Standard functions of the original doors like car alarm contacts and automatic interior light switch are accommodated for. The only modification required is the drilling of two new holes each for the strikers, because they are differently positioned due to the different locking mechanism. However, we will include a drilling template. The conversion kits are available in pairs for front and/or back seats.
