If all you want from a belt is to hold your trousers up, you’re not thinking this through! Of course, you can do just that with our Tactical Bear Belt and its GT Cobra® buckle, but we’ve packed so much more into this tactical piece of gear: tons of functionality, strength and security combined with ultra-light weight materials. All of this is made possible by ingenious design and a choice of high performance synthetic components.
First of all, there’s the nylon 45 mm belt strap in Tactical Bear quality. It’s designed to carry all the pouches, cases and holsters for all the gear you need outdoors, in rescue or security work, for hunting, construction, crafts, climbing etc. Survivalists and preppers especially will love this belt for its light weight, versatility and robustness. In emergencies, you can lift or carry with the strap, use it in first aid or even in self-defense. The strap is Made in Germany, complies with military standard MIL-SPEC W-4088 and will withstand break loads of up to 2.7 t. That’s a LOT of force for any survival situation.
But the best belt strap is only worth as much as the buckle holding it together. Our Tactical Bear belt features nothing less than a patented GT Cobra® stab insert buckle by Austrian specialist AustriAlpin. Their Cobra® system is specifically designed for military, police, paramedics and alpine rescue purposes. The 50 mm GT Cobra® polymer buckles are manufactured in cooperation with ITW Nexus, the American market leader for tactical high-performance MIL-SPEC plastic buckles. That’s why the GT Cobra® contains no metal parts whatsoever but relies 100% on high strength polymer synthetics, making it ideal for outdoor use. It combines extreme strength and longevity with an ultra-light weight of only 65 g.
As always with Cobra® products, inadvertent opening of the buckle is almost impossible: neither by mistake, because you have to press two buttons simultaneously, nor by exterior forces like pulling or tearing. This is due to the buckle’s interlocking snap insert design. Likewise, it is also next to impossible to lock the buckle improperly. A distinctive click sound will reassure you that the fastening mechanism is properly engaged.
We have to emphasize, however, that due to its synthetic materials the GT Cobra® plastic buckles must not be used as part of personal protection or safety equipment. In contrast to Cobra® metal buckles, the plastic GT models have no certification for rescue, safety or mountaineering uses like rappelling for example.
Our Tactial Bear belt is 1400 mm long and can be adjusted on one side. The other side features – as always with products from our own textile shop – extremely sturdy seams. We recommend to cut the strap to the desired length and seal the cut with a lighter flame. We supply detailed instructions and a lighter with every shipment.

It’s not quite clear who invented the fanny pack or bum bag or whatever you want to call it. But in all likelihood, these hip bags can be traced back to the simple pouches skiers wore in the 1970ies. That would make a lot of sense because those neat little items beat every backpack and every other kind of bag when you are out and about without much equipment. Your hands are free and so is your back, giving you freedom of movement in all terrains and also preventing you from sweating through your shirt or jacket. Whether you’re hiking, jogging or walking your dog, our Tactical Bear hip bag supplies enough storage space to carry all your essentials with you. The same goes for bike and boat trips or even for outdoor work or hunting. You will never feel hampered or weighed down, whether you’re wearing the bag as a classic fanny pack around the hips or “gangsta style” diagonally across your chest.
Its dimensions of 30x20x12 cm make our hip bag spacious enough for all your essential everyday items. Additionally, we made this pack as versatile and functional as real outdoorsmen and -women expect it to be. The “Tactical” in Tactical Bear is also a clue. Material and workmanship are extremely sturdy – whether it’s textiles like 100% Nylon, zippers, buckles, straps or the belt. As is standard with tactical gear, all components feature many additional functions: Velcro fleece, MOLLE mesh, pockets, rubber straps and an additional Velcro pocket compartment on the inside allow for individual customization, orderly organizing and quick access.
Many clever details turn this Bear Pouch into a proper multi-tasker: There’s a loop sewn into the back so that you can put the bag neatly away on a hook once you’re done for the day. We also used lockable zipper sliders so that pickpockets don’t stand a chance when you’re travelling. In one corner of the bag is a small opening for charger cables, headphones and the like. A neat little trick: use it as a dog poop bag dispenser. When you’re walking your dog, push a corner of your dog waste bags through this slit and pull them out as you need them. As easy and comfortable as can be.
Speaking of, for a comfy fit and good ventilation, there is an equally light and robust mesh layer on the back side. Underneath the mesh, we’ve integrated a HDPE plate (High Density Polyethylen). This keeps the bag in shape and prevents pointy items from poking you in the back, stomach or chest. The strong nylon belt can be extended up to a length of 1.60m to accommodate for the diagonal carrying style across the chest. If you wear the bag around the hips, simply roll up the loose ends and secure them with the sewn-in Velcro straps to prevent them from dangling or getting in the way.

Our dog loving textile team has a couple of new and practical products for the latter. The dog treat dummy bags are the perfect addition to our snack pouches, if you are planning to provide some active and successful training for your dog.
The robust Nylon PU coated dummy bag with its sturdy zipper can be filled with dog biscuits and other treats. Once it’s been associated as a source of food, the bag can be used for all kinds of lessons from everyday skills for companion dogs to specialized training for hunting or other working dogs. One end of the bag is a sturdy tab with a strong metal eyelet. Attached is a paracord with toggle clasp, making it easy to throw the bag or to hold onto it when teaching your dog retrieving, obedience or self-control.
The dog food dummy is available in the colors Coyote, Black and Orange. The signal color is especially useful when you’re training finding and retrieving in long grass, underbrush or similarly difficult terrain. Should your dog fail to sniff out or bring back the bag, you can spot it more easily yourself. The Nylon PU coating makes the bag easy to clean and it also keeps the contents dry when you’re using it in wet conditions or your dog chews on the bag.

The clips can be flexibly inserted into the MOLLE slots on the rucksack, giving the helmet a fixed position and a firm hold. The Nakatanenga backpack When product design becomes a matter of survival, as in military equipment, the principle of reduction applies to the maximum. The superfluous or useless is mercilessly sorted out and each part is charged with as many functions as possible. Therefore, it is never wrong to take tactical equipment as a model to make everyday products better. This is what we did with our new backpack and created an all-rounder, which is due to its practical properties as a Bug Out / Survival Bag as well as a daypack for school, university or work. Ergonomically, we paid attention to wearing comfort. Depending on the package, four adjustable straps ensure stability and comfort. Removable chest and waist straps reduce weight on the shoulders for greater stability when running, climbing or cycling. The mesh padding on the back is especially pleasant on longer tours. Due to the better ventilation, it reduces the sweat through the clothes. A variety of compartments and pockets with a total volume of about 17l provides maximum flexibility when stowing equipment or everyday objects. For long backpacking tours even a hydration can be used. The drinking tube can be passed through a specially designed opening on the handle. Straps on the straps and LaserCut MOLLE on the front and sides make it possible to individually attach additional packs and utensils such as our bottle holder. In design and execution, two things were important to us. On the one hand, the quality of materials and workmanship typical of Nakatanenga. Practical water bottle holder
Transporting drinking water or other drinks safely during sport, hiking, on bicycles or in cars has never been easier and more flexible than with our new Nakatanenga Bottle Bag. The MOLLE system, which originates from the tactical-military sector, provides an absolutely secure and, above all, space-saving attachment option on belts, rucksacks (e.g. our backpack rucksack) and daypacks - or on our special MOLLE panels, e.g. for vehicles.
Velcro surfaces at the bottom and front allow additional securing via Velcro straps or belts. This prevents the water supply from swinging back and forth on the rucksack. An important aspect, especially on long mountain hikes or similar.
The Codura laminate bottle holder is extremely lightweight and can be adjusted to any standard bottle size using the elasticated straps and adjustable base. Binoculars, radio equipment and much more can also be transported in the bag.
