Additional Interior Light for Land Rover NEW DEFENDER  The new Defender is being marketed as a true workhorse, but – as always – there’s room for improvement when it comes to the practicalities of working with your L663 on a day-to-day basis. One such aspect is definitely the lighting for the load space in the back. The standard set-up is somewhat sparse but most of all it lacks proper roof lights. This is especially problematic since the cargo area is often filled up or modified by installed racks, boxes and the like. Our LED light bar solves this problem with more than sufficient 396 Lumens light intensity. The lightbar is easily installed on the trim above the cargo door and illuminates the entire load space – helping you to quickly find tools and equipment and ensuring safe working conditions day or night. Mounting the roughly 36 cm long and 2 cm wide LED lightbar is really easy. Simply click the two fastening clips into the edge of the upper door trim. The clips’ custom-shape will hold the lightbar firmly in position. Connecting the device to the Defender’s wiring is just as quick by simply pushing the LED bar’s wire behind the trim and pulling it along the D-pillar towards the standard lamp housing by the fuse box. In most cases, you won’t even have to remove the trim panels. Two legends are coming together for the first time: the new Land Rover Defender, arguably the most complete 4x4 off-road vehicle at present, and our tried and tested, very successful modular roof rack system CargoBear. The bear crowns every new Landy, whether it’s a 90 or a 110. At Nakatanenga, we took our time to finetune the CargoBear for every design detail, technical specification and user requirement the Defender L663 (from MY 2020) challenged us with. At its full length of 2.41 m, our rack consists of 3 crossbars, two platform elements as well as front and rear modules. The overall width of 1.20 m gives you almost 3 square meters of fully usable cargo space. The entire surface can be loaded and walked upon – a decisive advantage over many competing products. The CargoBear is screwed into the original mounting points of the roof rails which have to be removed, of course. Another great advantage over the competition is the fact that you can configure the CargoBear rack in two heights: At 100 mm, the glass roof – if you have one –remains fully functional. If your Defender doesn’t have a glass roof or if you prefer a lower, more streamlined profile, the rack can be mounted at only 80mm above the roof. Whether you’re choosing the high or low mount, aerodynamics was always our main concern in the CargoBear’s development. “Air conditioning” in the classic Defender was regulated by crank handles and had two settings: windows up and windows down. But modern times show no mercy and such anachronisms are getting the chop. The New Defender therefore boasts an AC with not only one but two climatized zones as a standard feature. But what if the vehicle is stationary for longer periods? While parking, camping or as a work vehicle on job sites? Dogs, kids and fresh air fanatics will appreciate it to no end if you bring our set of ventilation panels with you in the new Landy, be it for hot summers or holiday trips down south. Seat cover for Land Rover New Defender 110/130, driver and passenger side This isn’t off-the-peg, this is made to measure! If you’re looking for seat covers for the New Defender – the front seats to be precise – look no further than our seat protectors made from durable, and easy-to-clean 1000D Nylon 6.6. The seat covers were developed by us in our own tailor's workshop  – guaranteeing highest functionality and best workmanship. To ensure maximum comfort and compatibility with the climate technologies in your seats, the covers feature breathable mesh fabric on the actual sitting surface. And even though it is mesh, it will still protect the seat from dirt and moisture. To achieve a perfect fit, the one-piece cover is tightly tailored and does not require zippers or similar. Simply pull it over the seat, Velcro the top part underneath the headrest and close the sturdy straps and buckles on the underside. Additionally, a mesh pocket with a rubber foam piece inside is wedged into the gap between backrest and seat surface to prevent the cover from sliding. On the sides, openings in the cover allow easy access to the headrest controls. As with all our textile products, we always aim to add additional storage space. Generously sized MOLLE patches on the sides as well as large pockets in the rear of the backrest and the front rail of the seat make it very easy to store everyday items and small pieces of equipment temporarily or permanently. Door net for New Defender from MY2020 Modern car doors are primarily optimized for lateral impact protection. Small wonder that even large vehicles like the New Defender offer relatively little storage space in the door paneling. With our new storage nets for driver and passenger door of the New Landy you can pretty much double the available space of your door pockets - for all the things you want to keep within reach, in summer and winter. The elastic mesh material also ensures that you’re using only the space you actually need. And when you take your New Defender off-roading, the nets also make sure that everything you keep in the door pockets will actually stay there. The nets are simply screwed into the door panels using the fastening materials included in the delivery. Dashboard bag for Land Rover NEW DEFENDER from BJ 2020, LHD The open dashboard design in the New Defender is no coincidence, of course. This is where the impeccably modern cockpit by design director Gerry McGovern and colleagues pays homage to the interior of the classic Defender, the original Landy. Good for us, because we immediately spotted an opportunity to improve storage capabilities: with our nifty dashboard bag for the New Defender. The open dashboard shelf is where you put all the odds and ends in your car. It was like that in the old Landy, it will probably be the same in the new one. But once you’re testing the L663’s tilt angle or maximum gradient, our new dashboard bag, made from easy-to-clean, robust nylon, will keep your stuff from actually flying around. Installing the bag firmly in the dash takes only a few minutes. The zipper has two sliders so that the bag can be opened and shut from both sides. On the inside, mesh compartments and Velcro fleece allow for organized and secure storage of all kinds of items. The front features MOLLE fleece to attach patches and other little things. Since the New Landy sports a designer cockpit, we used transparent plastic material on top of the bag. This allows for the ambient LEDs in the dashboard and the day light from the opening above to filter through into the bag’s interior. The use of wheel spacers is permitted for the following wheel sizes/rims/references: NOTES and REQUIREMENTS: A1) The screw-in length of all fastening elements must be at least 7.5 turns (M14x1.5).Ensure that the stud bolts are of sufficient length.The screwed-on spacer rings are fastened to the vehicle with the fastening elements supplied by the manufacturer of the spacer rings (taper collar wheel nuts).The standard wheels are fastened with the standard fastening elements.It is particularly important to ensure that the length of the stud bolts in the spacer rings (free thread length above the wheel contact surface) corresponds to the length of the standard stud bolts, in this case approx. 28 mm (VA/HA). H1)The usability of snow chains was not checked. H2)There are no technical objections to the use of standard or other wheel/tyre combinations up to the above (limit) wheel/tyre combinations in conjunction with the described spacer rings if the following conditions are met:Separate suitable certificates for the wheel/tyre combinations are available and the conditions listed therein are complied with. In addition, the above-mentioned conditions must be observed and applied if necessary.If other wheel/tyre combinations are used, their suitability (clearance, handling, etc.) must be checked or proven separately.Use of the spacer rings on the front and rear axle or only on the rear axle.There are no technical objections to the additional use of tested chassis lowering or raising (with parts certificate or ABE).In the case of chassis lowering with non-standard end stops, the suitability of the conversion must be checked or proven separately.Use of the spacer rings on the front and rear axle or only on the rear axle. Furthermore, it is possible to combine spacer rings with different widths on the front and rear axle. H8)Only in conjunction with LM wheels with corresponding "casting pockets" which can accommodate standard stud bolts or nut heads protruding beyond the wheel contact surface.The standard stud bolts may have to be shortened.The minimum screw-in length of all fastening elements of 7.5 turns must be maintained.  

Switch panel for New Defender from year of manufacture 2020These switch panels have been designed to fit into the dashboard and accommodate 2 switches. The base comes with two switches and is made from durable ABS plastic that is easy to attach with the double-sided tape provided.

GDW hitch bracket with 13-pin Erich Jaeger E set The New Defender L663 (from MY 2019) is not only an extraordinary off-road vehicle, it also packs a remarkable punch. The wide variety of engines from Diesel and petrol to PHEV deliver between 200 and 525 HP and 400 to 650 Nm torque. Its power makes the new Landy the ultimate towing vehicle up to 3.5t towing capacity. And the fact, that the trailer hitch –  whether detachable or electrically deployable –  has to be ordered as an extra, is not really a disadvantage. When configuring your New Defender it’s probably best to skip this feature and get a heavy duty towbar like the one from GDW with its 13-pin electric connector kit by Erich Jaeger. The advantages of the GDW trailer hitch are obvious: A 4-bolt mounting plate will fit the included towball hitch but also any other type of coupling, the GDW coupling block comes at a much more competitive price than the OEM parts. Installation and road use do not need to be technically certified, by the way. The GDW towbar was custom-designed specifically for the New Defender. It comes with detailed assembly instructions and a complete electrics kit. Installing the towbar will take approximately 3 hours. Please note:The GDW towbar may interfere with the sensors of the vehicle’s parking aid. If you rely on this system, you should use the original tow bar.
