Our precision-manufactured replacement hinges made of black anodized aluminum provide a permanent remedy, especially in combination with our custom mounting kit. The complete set of screws, nuts, washers and retaining clips is made of stainless steel and is therefore guaranteed to stay rust-free. The fastening materials are specifically made to exactly fit these hinges, thereby preventing contact corrosion between steel and aluminum parts. The screws’ black coloring also ensures a seamless off-road look on your Landy. Please note: The mounting kit does not fit the original Land Rover hinges.

The leaves only touch in three places: In the centre, where they are attached to the axle, and at the outer ends, where they are attached to the vehicle. Between these points, the leaves do not touch, unlike conventional leaf springs.Since in the Parabolic spring a spring tapers from the wide centre to the outer ends, a single leaf acts like a complete spring - the thickness of the spring changes according to a parabola and provides a constant distribution of tension. Each leaf has more or less the shape of a complete multi-leaf spring and can therefore withstand a comparable force. The high quality OEM parabolic springs are paired with Cellular Dynamic shock absorbers. Also included in the kit are leaf spring correction wedges that can be used to correct caster or diff bolt angle by 3 degrees. The parabolic springs include u-bolts and nuts. Galvanised doors for Land Rover Defender from model year 1983-2016 in Land Rover Series Style Everything was better in the past? Not necessarily, but these Defender conversion kits for Series 2/3 style doors are not only for retro fans but definitely add a lot of quality and functionality that has become lost along the way in the standard Defender doors from model year 1983 onwards. So, what are the advantages that these Series-style two-part doors have over the Defender originals? Apart from the fact that they come considerably cheaper, most of the pros lie in the design and the construction of the two-piece doors. For a start, the lift-up handle is recessed and doesn’t protrude as with the plastic push-button handle on the standard doors. This improves safety because they won’t catch on obstacles while off-roading or navigating narrow passages. The lift-up handles also grant better theft prevention as they come with a stronger locking mechanism. Furthermore, the door’s design also creates more space inside the cab, a fact that tall drivers will appreciate immensely. Soft top models, especially, will profit from the completely removable door tops. The slide windows themselves offer quality glazing and one thing you never need to worry about again is the winding mechanism underneath the door trim. In terms of quality and assembly these conversion kits leave nothing to be desired. The frames of door tops and the bottoms are hot-dip galvanized and the aluminum skins adhere to original factory specs. The split retro doors will fit all Defender Models from 90s to 130s and model years from 1983 to 2016. They come with all the required fastenings, handles, locks, strikers and seals. Standard functions of the original doors like car alarm contacts and automatic interior light switch are accommodated for. The only modification required is the drilling of two new holes each for the strikers, because they are differently positioned due to the different locking mechanism. However, we will include a drilling template. The conversion kits are available in pairs for front and/or back seats.

This is why Defender 110 Station Wagons often have hidden rust spots under the rear seat bench mount or on the frame holder. To avoid having to replace the entire base plate of the rear tub in the event of advanced contact corrosion, we now offer an exclusive, easy-to-fit repair kit for the particularly susceptible area under the seat bench. The kit consists of the main plate, two side parts and sufficient rivets. For installation (see pictures), the existing welding points on the rear tub are first drilled out. The sheet metal is then simply positioned accordingly, glued in place with body sealant and fixed at the sides with clamps. Once dry, drill the sheet metal at the pre-drilled welding points and insert the rivets. The two side panels are then attached in the same way. An den Befestigungen, den Unterseiten sowie in den Spalten zwischen Streben und Karosserieblechen entstehen hier versteckte Korrosionsherde, die schnell zu kritischen Schäden führen können. Bevor umfangreiche Restaurationsarbeiten mit Flex und Schweißgerät unternommen werden, ist es oft besser, gleich das komplette Bauteil zu wechseln. Wir bieten die C-Säule jeweils einzeln für die rechte oder linke Seite, passend für alle Modelle, bei denen die Türdichtung nur eingesetzt und nicht angenietet ist.
