Something unspeakable in the company with the funny name ...
But actually it is quite simple (as long as you do not have to pronounce it): Muurinpohjapannu is Finnish and means nothing more than - now it comes - frying pan. In fact, "this part" can be used like a frying pan; Almost everything that can be prepared in an ordinary pan can also be sizzle on this part. Well, it does not have a handle. This should make it a little difficult if you should try his pancake in the usual way. The Dutch Oven, often referred to simply as a pot (sic), is available here together with a sturdy tripod, a pot stand and, of course, a lid lifter. Although the pot itself is available in three sizes, we only offer it as a set in the two most popular sizes. Of course, the tripod, the lid lifter and the pot stand can also be used with the pound pot (coincidentally also the name of a very popular Dutch Oven dish - but here we mean our 12-quart pot). The pots are also particularly suitable for induction cookers, as well as for all other types (ceramic, open fire, etc.). Please select the desired size.A practical tip from Harry:Tried and tested for travelling: one of the two sets offered here! You can also attach one of these beautiful enamelled percolators to the tripod for making coffee. But be careful! Not all percolators are suitable for this type of coffee preparation! And... the handle can get devilishly hot! Our lid lifter doesn't really help here either. But if anyone knows of a practical way of using the Dutch oven lid lifter with a percolator, please let me knowWhere were we again? Exactly! With our DO sets... ideal for travelling, but probably a little undersized for a garden party. Our Dutch ovens can be used over an open fire, on the barbecue, on the hob and also in the kitchen oven. We have deliberately opted for pots without legs, as these can be stored in a more space-saving way and can also be used in the normal kitchen. With this 100% stainless steel coffee maker you can brew excellent coffee anywhere you are – on gas or electric hobs, on camping cookers and even in or above open fires. The percolator insert allows you to perfectly achieve the desired strength of the brew. An embossed measurement scale for up to 9 cups makes it very easy to gauge the right quantities.
Including the percolator, the coffee pot offers a volume of up to 1.2 liters, without the insert you can heat up to 1.5 l of water. It’s not only watches and pocket knives that the Swiss do really, really well, they also know a thing or two about cruder tools. This pickaxe for example is used by the Swiss army engineer corps and it’s both extremely well-made and versatile. You can use it for all kinds of outdoor activities, as off-road equipment and much more. The forged steel head offers a point and a flat blade for all kinds of digging work required in a camp, e.g. making a fire pit, digging rain trenches around your tent or cracking ice in winter.
When compared to a foldable army spade, this traditional pick offers considerable advantages. Especially on very hard or stony ground, digging with a folding spade is often difficult or even impossible. The army spade’s folding hinges limit the force that can be exerted and they also tend to get damaged or worn-out. In contrast, the pickaxe’s simple design means that the physical force is concentrated on a very small area at the tip or the blade. That makes the pickaxe your tool of choice, especially when it comes to harder surfaces. And besides, most outdoor digging tasks don’t involve removing huge amounts of soil. In most cases, loosening and scraping will suffice and for that the Swiss army pick is ideal.

Camp fires are as old as mankind. Maybe that’s why we have such an intense relationship with open flames, glowing embers and – of course – grilled food. Hand on heart, is there anything more satisfying on a camping or weekend trip than sitting around a real fire with family and friends?
Our brand new modular fire pit with grill and skewers can be put together and packed away in no time. Plates and stands are made from 4 mm steel. They are uncoated, so that barbecuing food is absolutely safe in our Nakatangenga brazier. Moreover, the lack of paints or coatings will also allow the steel to develop a beautiful patina over time – telling the story of so many good times around the fire! The individual metal elements are precision milled and are simply slotted into each other. Once assembled, the pit’s precision engineering makes sure everything holds tightly together. And since there are neither nuts nor bolts involved, you’ll never lose any small fastening parts as with other assembly kits.
The solid short ends of the brazier include the stands and are made from a single sheet of metal each. Two feet on one end and a single one on the other create a firm tripod stand. This makes positioning the fire bowl always safe and easy, even on rough surfaces. If you have soft earth or snow, you can push the stands deep into the ground like a spade, ensuring rock solid stability. The side elements feature aeration holes to guarantee proper oxygenation for your fire or your embers. All around the top of the fire pit, you will find plenty of notches to securely place the grill or the skewers.
Last but not least, the kit also features a sturdy pack bag made of high-quality nylon, reinforced with truck tarpaulin – guaranteeing safe and comfortable transport of your disassembled fire pit. Whether it’s camping, backpacking or just a short weekend trip to the lake, when it comes to luggage, there’s one simple rule: Take only as much as necessary and always as little as possible! Since microfiber towels were introduced, “as little as possible” has become a lot less, fortunately. Gone are the days when you had to stuff bulky cotton towels into your bags, often heavy with moisture.
Our towel sets include a lightweight mesh bag and a choice of one or two hand towels or a larger bath towel. Made from 100 % polyester microfiber, they are your perfect travel companion. At 320g/m2, our choice of fabric is slightly heavier than your standard synthetic outdoor towel. But the thicker material was chosen for a reason: it’s much softer, more absorbent and offers a lot more comfort on your skin. The sizes are really generous, too, with 50 x 90 cm for the smaller and 70 x 130 cm for the larger towel. It’s the perfect sweet spot between packing size and a great sense of well-being and comfort.
The thicker material will air dry as quickly as you expect it to – even inside the mesh bag. Made from a polyester nylon combination and washable at 60° C, the 27 x 12 cm bag provides not only a small pack size but also guarantees great aeration, drying damp towels even when stored away.

Hungarian frying pan with foldable handle and bag
Hardly any cooking dish is better suited for camping and outdoor life than a good iron frying pan. You can use it to cook almost anything - even directly in your camp fire’s embers if necessary. And all you need to do afterwards is to wipe it with a damp cloth. Unlike coated composite metal pans, the all-iron variety is virtually indestructible, isn’t detrimental to your health and it’s definitely highly sustainable – in fact, it has been for thousands of years.
