The arguments in favour of LED headlights are convincing:
Robustness - LEDs, unlike halogen or xenon headlights, are insensitive to strong vibrations and impacts, which are part of everyday life when used on off-roaders or machines - their benefits: No more replacing ‘bulbs’ - the LEDs have an expected service life of 50,000 hours. This corresponds to a service life of over 17 years, assuming 8 hours of operation per day.
low power consumption - regular headlights require 55 watts per headlight for low beam, 60 watts for high beam, and often even 100 watt bulbs are used. Not only is this not authorised, it also overloads the standard wiring and light switches. LED headlights, on the other hand, only require 35 watts (at 14 V voltage supplied by an alternator) per headlight.
