For this purpose, the mounting plate is installed on the right-hand (as seen from the driver's seat) ventilation grille / air intake. For left-hand drive vehicles, you can find the mounting plate here in our shop. As the Defender is made of aluminium, unfortunately no magnetic antenna base will hold. We have therefore designed a plate made of sheet steel with a suitable opening for the cable. Alan radio 150 CB antenna for fixed mounting

The 1/4 lambda antenna is easy to mount and offers a wide bandwidth incl. DV connection. It consists of a stainless steel radiator with flux points and a wing nut.
