This fitting set is designed to mount various car awnings and awning tents with 90 brackets or suitable adapters onto traditional roof rack systems with square steel bars. We recommend that each bracket is fixed by two counter plates both on top and underneath the square bar. M8 hex bolts and stop nuts guarantee secure fastening.

Access to the roof of a car is usually something for climbing professionals - especially from the side. This applies to expedition-ready 4x4s with CargoBear-style system carriers that can be climbed by ladder, and especially to SUVs with ski racks or family vans with roof boxes. Often the vehicles are simply too high or the drivers too small or unathletic to get safe and easy side access to the roof load. They try to find a foothold on the seats by groping with their feet while holding on tightly with one hand to avoid tipping over backwards. Or you climb onto boxes or makeshift ladders and let the passenger support you, but who always has ladders or a passenger with them?
What fits into the car in any case is our convenient and safe climbing aid for hanging into the body-side locking brackets of the door locks. The ladder replacement is hooked into the catch eye of the latch with a simple, fold-out hook. The pressure of the rubberised rear edge of the step surface on the B- or C-pillar results in an absolutely safe climbing aid under load that does not wobble or slip. This way, you can reach every side of the car roof safely and quickly without much effort.
The locking brackets of the car doors have to withstand forces that are many times the weight of the human body so that the door does not open in the event of an accident or attempted break-in. The ladder itself is made of an extremely solid aluminium alloy and is designed to withstand 200 kg. This means that even large and heavy contemporaries need not worry. However, the first use should be carried out with caution and care in order to get the necessary safety when climbing. The step is covered with non-slip, grooved PVC and to ensure that the paintwork is not damaged, there is an additional rubber protector that can be attached to the edge of the step.
By the way, if there is no more room for the foldable door step in the glove compartment or the centre shelf, you can leave the emergency hammer at home, because it has a steel tip at the front and thus also functions as a rescue tool for breaking windows.

The amount of praise and positive feedback we’ve received really knocked our socks off! We are talking about our light summer socks, of course. Designing new socks is a bit like re-inventing the wheel but it seems our textile studio has really hit the spot and developed the formula for a supersock: Merino wool, performance-synthetics and first-class craftsmanship. And since our short Nakasox are flying off the shelves, we’re immediately following them with higher crew socks.
Off-roaders, outdoor types and people who still do an honest day’s work prefer boots. They appreciate the stability around the ankle and the protection when romping around in the field. But that comes with a price because wearing a boot requires a crew sock. If you don’t want to experience subsequent hot flashes and puddles of sweat when wearing boots in the summer, we recommend our lightweight, high shaft Merino crew socks for comfort and good stability.
Merino is the perfect base layer for our socks because the supersheep’s fleece is nature’s air conditioning. It warms in the cold but also cools in hot weather and that’s due to the micro structure of the ultra-fine curly fibers in the fleece. They absorb high amounts of moisture and release it quickly back into the air. Effective condensation thus cools your skin and leaves you with a pleasant feeling when wearing the socks. The experience of comfort and wellbeing is still increased by the fact that Merino wool doesn’t itch and that it smells less (and later) than other materials due to the fiber’s antibacterial properties.
Specially selected high-performance synthetics turn the Nakatanenga sock into a proper athlete, because polypropylene, elastane und polyamide components in the fabric ensure that the natural wool doesn’t get too strained by rubbing, chafing and stretching, especially in the summer when there is high demand from activities like working or hiking. The synthetics reduce wear and tear and keep the socks elastic and in shape.
With thin summer socks, the areas around the toes and the heel are especially vulnerable for chafing or rubbing through due to higher mechanical stress created by your foot’s motion in the shoe. That’s why we have strengthened these zones with a soft plush fabric.

Camping and outdoor activities usually start tough and spartan but gradually you work your way back to comfort and coziness, especially when girlfriends, wives and daughters are part of the equation. And that’s where our comfortable, warm and highly practical seat covers come in. To be used on camping chairs, benches, tree stumps or even on the ground, you will get a lot more enjoyment out of your outdoor adventures and a lot less one-sided roasting around the campfire.
Our Nakatanenga seat covers come in two varieties: one made with sustainable natural materials, the other with tough synthetics. Both cushion types are universal in their use, fold into a small bag and can be easily carried by their own handles. They have two distinct sides so that you can use them in different weather condition and surroundings just by flipping them over. One side is warm and comfy, the other one more robust, water-resistant and easy to clean. This makes these seat covers extremely versatile, not only for sitting but also as warm and protective ground covers for little ones or your furry friends.
The natural material variety is an Anglo-Bavarian combo. One side is stepped waxed cotton, as made popular by Barbour jackets, the other side is high quality natural Loden. The waxed cotton is extremely water repellant and dirt resistant. The Loden side is first and foremost warm and comfy. Due to its natural and gentle manufacturing process, the Loden still contains enough natural Lanolin from the sheep’s wool to give this material a certain degree of water resistance. Friends of natural materials will therefore not object to the subtle scent of Lanolin. This is part of Loden like wood smoke belongs to a campfire.
The synthetic version features a sturdy, water-resistant side with Nylon PU-coating and a comfy side made from Loden. Moreover, Nylon PU coating is extremely durable and completely free from harmful plastic softeners. Both cover varieties are held in place by an elastic band in the back.

Roof Lodge Evolution Front Extension Arc Shape for Car Awning (Bag Awning).
The extension is made from the same high quality material as the Roof Lodge Evolution canopy / awning and provides ideal sun, privacy and wind protection. The extension is simply pulled into the existing keder rail of the awning. The extension has a keder diameter of 6.5 mm and is therefore also suitable for many other awnings. The corners of the extension can be fixed to the ground with the pegs and ropes included in the delivery. The extended length of the extensions is always 200 cm, regardless of the width.
Compared to standard awning extensions, this extension has a small curve at the outer end, so that the extension has ideal tension when stretched. This means that it flutters less and withstands stronger winds better. It can be tensioned at an angle or vertically!
With an extension that reaches all the way to the ground, you usually feel quite isolated from the surroundings. No wonder, because a completely pulled-down side almost looks like an incomplete awning, but without offering the advantages of an awning.
The awning front extensions are available in the following widths: 140, 200, 250 and 270 cm.

The awning is up, seats and tables unfolded and even the roof tent is ready. That’s the moment when you realize how sweaty and sticky you are from a long day behind the wheel. A kingdom for a shower, in the middle of nowhere!
No worries, we’ve been on the case and this is what we‘ve come up with: A mounted shower unit for overlanders, campers and adventurers. Nakatanenga shower tubes are attached to the side of a CargoBear or any other roof rack. You fill it with the amount of water you need, pressurize the tank with air to guarantee consistent water flow and off you go. During the day, the tube’s black PE material provides free solar off-grid heating for the water, no energy input required, no CO2 emissions. Isn’t that just great at the end of a tough day?
The shower tubes come in three sizes – 1,240, 2,100 und 2,750 mm – respectively giving you volumes of 9.4, 17.5 and 23.7 l. We deliver the tubes with CargoBear mounting brackets, tap, handheld shower head and spiral hose pipe. You can attach your own accessories to the ½” connector, of course. The shower tubes is a really neat solution for all your muddy outdoor hobbies, too. How often have you wished you could just quickly hose down clothes, boots, sports equipment or pets before getting into the 4x4 or loading it up? We know.
Since the tubes are not equipped with safety valves, we recommend using regular bicycle hand or foot pumps to pressurize them. Manually created pressure will be perfectly sufficient to create a constant flow of water.

The Dutch Oven, often referred to simply as a pot (sic), is available here together with a sturdy tripod, a pot stand and, of course, a lid lifter. Although the pot itself is available in three sizes, we only offer it as a set in the two most popular sizes. Of course, the tripod, the lid lifter and the pot stand can also be used with the pound pot (coincidentally also the name of a very popular Dutch Oven dish - but here we mean our 12-quart pot). The pots are also particularly suitable for induction cookers, as well as for all other types (ceramic, open fire, etc.). Please select the desired size.A practical tip from Harry:Tried and tested for travelling: one of the two sets offered here! You can also attach one of these beautiful enamelled percolators to the tripod for making coffee. But be careful! Not all percolators are suitable for this type of coffee preparation! And... the handle can get devilishly hot! Our lid lifter doesn't really help here either. But if anyone knows of a practical way of using the Dutch oven lid lifter with a percolator, please let me knowWhere were we again? Exactly! With our DO sets... ideal for travelling, but probably a little undersized for a garden party. So in itself it's perfectly adequate for a garden party, but not for a G-A-R-T-E-N-P-A-R-T-Y!That's when you need our pound pot - and to supplement and round off the food base, you can always find a quick use for the smaller brother. And if you want to serve the much-quoted icing on the cake as a first aid against second hunger late at night: Take a piece of beef of your choice, it should be around 300-400 grams and nicely marbled, and it must be able to fit into the sizzle pan later (a flank steak is really tasty, but completely unsuitable for this), and put it in the oven set to around 55°C, but not immediately taken out of the fridge - preheating is superfluous, unless your G-A-R-T-E-N-P-A-R-T-Y is taking place in the Arctic Circle.There, in the oven, it can then remain for a long, really long time, but of course not until the end of time. So don't overdo it! And the following really does apply to this preparation: don't add salt! Garlic, thyme and/or rosemary add a familiar flavour, sage and coriander a less familiar but very interesting one. When your guests' appetite for a savoury or tasty treat reawakens, simply let the Sizzel Pan heat up in the embers and then place the meat inside. 45-60 seconds per side is usually sufficient and a knob of good butter should not be missing. Allow the meat to rest for a few more minutes, then cut into slices and serve, then cut into slices and serve sprinkled with salt (flakes!) and freshly ground pepper. Make sure you try it: Lemon pepper!

Our Dutch ovens can be used over an open fire, on the barbecue, on the hob and also in the kitchen oven. We have deliberately opted for pots without legs, as these can be stored in a more space-saving way and can also be used in the normal kitchen. Our pots are already baked so that you can prepare delicious food straight away.

On long journeys, camping holidays or a quick trip to the lake, the 270° roof awning from Roof Lodge turns every Landy, T5 & Co into a practical and, above all, quickly opened camp. Once you have found the perfect spot for the night or even the whole holiday, the awning fans out in no time at all from the left-hand side of the vehicle to far behind the rear of the vehicle, is then supported by four aluminium telescopic poles and tensioned with the ropes. With the help of flexible side wall tarpaulins that can be quickly attached, an optimal combination of weather protection and openness can be created. Two side panels are included. This creates an adaptable, dry, wind-protected and shaded area for cooking, eating, working and relaxing.
The material of the awning is high-quality, PU-coated RipStop polycotton, a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The functional fabric is extremely tear-resistant, water- and dirt-repellent and, due to its relatively high weight of 280 g/m2, also produces significantly less fluttering noise in the wind.
Our Roof Lodge awning, which weighs 16.8 kg (incl. side panels), can be mounted on the right and left of the vehicle's roof rack, making it ideal for covering crucial areas such as the driver's, passenger's, side and rear doors, depending on the vehicle model and size. The awning measures 4.35m in total length and covers 4.1m at the side and 2m at the rear (see drawing in the product images). The area of the awning covers approx. 9 sqm ². The awning is secured at the rear with the included tensioning strap set. Two 25 mm wide nylon straps in three different lengths (25, 75 and 125 cm) guarantee stable lashing even with the most varied vehicle/roof rack configurations.
