Ecologically, sustainably produced hand or shower towel with mesh bag Whether it’s camping, backpacking or just a short weekend trip to the lake, when it comes to luggage, there’s one simple rule: Take only as much as necessary and always as little as possible! Since microfiber towels were introduced, “as little as possible” has become a lot less, fortunately. Gone are the days when you had to stuff bulky cotton towels into your bags, often heavy with moisture. Our towel sets include a lightweight mesh bag and a choice of one or two hand towels or a larger bath towel. Made from 100 % polyester microfiber, they are your perfect travel companion. At 320g/m2, our choice of fabric is slightly heavier than your standard synthetic outdoor towel. But the thicker material was chosen for a reason: it’s much softer, more absorbent and offers a lot more comfort on your skin. The sizes are really generous, too, with 50 x 90 cm for the smaller and 70 x 130 cm for the larger towel. It’s the perfect sweet spot between packing size and a great sense of well-being and comfort. The thicker material will air dry as quickly as you expect it to – even inside the mesh bag. Made from a polyester nylon combination and washable at 60° C, the 27 x 12 cm bag provides not only a small pack size but also guarantees great aeration, drying damp towels even when stored away. And by the way: our hand and bath towels are Made in Germany and meet strict standards when it comes to eco-friendly production, contaminant-free materials, sustainability and social responsibility. That’s why they feature the governmental Grüner Knopf seal and the Oeko-Tex-Label “Textiles Vertrauen”. With this first aid bag / multi-purpose bag, you are also equipped for emergencies when travelling. You can attach the bag to various carriers, organisers, panels or rucksacks with the MOLLE system. This pouch can also be used as a small multi-purpose pouch thanks to its neutral black colour. The Velcro base plate is already included in the scope of delivery. What is Molle? There is a Molle system on the outer surface so that you can either attach another small pouch to it or attach small non-slip items, such as emergency scissors. There is also a Molle system on the back of the base plate. This allows the bag to be easily attached to our tactical rucksack, for example. In contrast to PVC, nylon PU (polyurethane) is free from harmful phthalate-based plasticisers. Until recently, low-molecular phthalates were the most common plasticisers for plastics of all kinds and are even used in food and cosmetics. However, they accumulate in the environment and are suspected of acting like endogenous hormones due to their molecular nature. This is highly questionable from a toxicological point of view and is considered a trigger for various diseases, including cancer. For Nakatanenga, it is therefore a matter of course to use only ecologically and health-friendly alternatives such as nylon PU when coating textile products. Seat Cover for Mini DrySeparatingToilet Whether you want to call it a portable dry toilet or simply your “poop box“, it definitely helps with your business when camping, going on expedition and festivals or even while working in places without sanitary facilities. If you want to get even more out of this special furniture you can simply add one of our custom-made seat cushions and gain an additional and very comfortable seat.  And let’s not forget aesthetics and privacy! Even outdoors and on the road that’s always an issue when it comes to sanitary topics. Covered by our neat seat cushion, you don’t advertise the fact that there’s a toilet within sight in your camp or your camper. Great when you’re having friends around or you’re planning a candle light dinner in your camper van. Our seat cover is made of 100% PU-coated nylon and is therefore extremely easy to clean. The padding of the seat consists of 6cm thick foam, which can be removed through a zip to clean the cover. Windscreen cover Famously, there’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad preparation, if we may extend the scope of the old saying. In any case, you’re well prepared for all sorts of situations if you carry one of our Nakatanenga multifunctional covers in your car. One side is covered in an insulating aluminum thermal foil, the other is made from PU coated, stepped nylon, making it a perfect multi-purpose cover. Especially when it’s cold or wet or both. The material is extremely robust, water-repellent and easy to clean. In winter, it makes the perfect windshield cover, especially for SUV’s or 4x4’s. With ample dimensions of 162 x 86 cm the mat features on the nylon side 6 firmly sewn-in d-rings made from sturdy plastic. You simply attach the included rubber straps, your own elastic cords and fasten them to mirrors or other structural features. The insulated aluminum side sports 5 cm wide and 20 cm long nylon straps that are meant to be trapped in the door frame. That way nothing will shift or be blown away by the wind overnight. In the morning everyone will appreciate a snow and ice-free windshield. The mat also does an excellent job at other times of the year or on other occasions. In summer, it reduces the heating of the inside of the car and is also the perfect base: as a picnic blanket for the damp meadow or as a place for the four-legged friend to lie down, for sports, outdoor activities or repairs in the field as well as the cosy round at the campfire. Simply spread out, lie nice and warm and dry and finally fold along the quilting after use and stow away.
