This makes the holder suitable for a wide range of vehicles, from classic cars with 6 V electrical systems to trucks with 24 V electrical systems.The fuse box also serves as a distribution or collection system for the earth connection. Difficult-to-locate electrical and electronic problems due to a bad earth wire of the bodywork are thus significantly minimised - especially for Land Rover Defender models from model year 2007 onwards (Td4 engine) this is a good investment! A ground cable is then fed back to the battery from the ground collection point.The distributor is the cornerstone of a neatly constructed and fused electrical system in the vehicle and should be fitted right at the start of Defender ownership if possible. The distributor itself must also be fused - no more than 30 cm from the battery, with max. 125 A - for this we recommend the fuse holder up to 200 A as well as the matching 125 A MIDI strip fuses.Another feature is an LED indicator for each circuit, which indicates a defective fuse when it lights up.
