Mobile parking heater with aluminum box, various versions Make way, here comes the second generation of our mobile parking heaters in a box! We have packed even more technology, even more experience and even more customer feedback into our new mobile heating boxes. If you are looking for a small, self-sufficient and portable heat source with unrivaled capacity for cold days and nights in unheated outdoor shelters or temporary accommodation, you get everything you need (or want) in a small, weatherproof aluminum box. Available in three modular versions with different configurations, the Nakatanenga heating box provides the perfect, independent heat source for tents, gazebos, garden sheds, mountain huts, snack stands, stalls and much more. The heart of the mobile parking heater is the Autoterm Luft 2D, a diesel-powered air heater with a maximum heat output of 1.8 kW and a diesel consumption of just under a quarter of a liter per hour at full power. With a tank capacity of 18 liters in the twin-tank version, this means that it can heat at full throttle for over 70 hours. The economical unit, which is also very quiet at 55 dB thanks to the exhaust silencer, is controlled by a digital control unit with timer in the version with two batteries and can also be switched on and off by radio remote control. This allows you to preheat your camper, roof tent, caravan or hunting lodge in good time for getting up or for the evening, for example, and operate it from the place where you are staying or sleeping inside*. In contrast to the previous models, the three versions of our mobile parking heater are now only available in one box size, namely 42 liters. This is significantly more compact than the old version in the large version and only slightly more voluminous than the small model from before. What is the advantage? The new universal crate has a modular interior with a powerful performance. Depending on whether you need tanks, batteries or both in the box, you can choose the appropriate version when purchasing: with 9.2 L single or 18.4 L double tank, each without battery, as well as with single tank, two batteries and digital control. However, it can also be easily retrofitted or converted if requirements change. As the warm air hose is different for every user and every requirement, we do not include a standard length, but leave it up to you to order the desired length separately here in the store, with or without a silicone sleeve. Regardless of the configuration, the mobile parking heaters are always easy to transport and make the difference between experiencing and suffering in the cold seasons. Whether it's an aurora safari, selling cookies at the Christmas market or winter camping in a roof tent, nothing is really fun if you freeze to death. *ATTENTION: As a precaution, we would like to point out that operation in closed rooms is not permitted due to the risk of poisoning from exhaust fumes. In addition, for optimum heating performance, make sure that the air inlets for combustion and hot air are positioned so that they are protected from the weather. In contrast to conventional lead-acid AGM technology, lithium batteries combine superior charging properties with much lower weight and volume and a long service life. LiFePo4 batteries can be deep-discharged without any problems, which sooner or later leads to irreparable damage with AGM batteries, as the rule of thumb here is that you should never draw more than 50% charge. If you are not dependent on the greater cold tolerance of AGM batteries, you should definitely consider the higher costs for LiFePo4 batteries and compatible charging technology. The weight and space savings, the long service life and the uncomplicated discharging and charging of the battery are strong arguments in favor of the investment. What's more, LiFePo4 technology is also extremely safe And a special note on aluminum: Although we take the utmost care during storage and shipping, as with all our products, aluminum boxes can always show minimal scratches, stains, dents or other surface features upon delivery. These are material-related and result from the specific properties of the light metal.  In contact with oxygen, aluminum forms a natural, corrosion-protecting patina and is also relatively soft compared to steel, which is three times heavier. This makes the material ideal for use in sheet metal, especially when weight and resistance are important. On the other hand, however, it also means that aluminum can never be completely free of patina or other marks, even on delivery: Small scratches, stains etc. therefore do not constitute grounds for complaint. Ultimately, aluminum boxes are intended to be robust objects of daily use. Like everything that is actively used, they develop an individual patina and every trace of use tells a story. So, have fun with it! Please note the variants without batteries:  Most portable power stations or battery boxes (such as Goal Zero, Eco Flow, Bluetti etc.) are unfortunately not suitable for operating mobile parking heaters. End piece for warm air hose WALUFLEX Our 60 mm Flexi pipes for parking heaters are the perfect solution for transporting warmth and cosiness from A to B, whereby B can be one of our roof tents, a cold mountain hut or whatever else needs to be heated off-grid. The warm air pipes can be cut to any length and to ensure that the pipe ends are cleanly sealed or can be easily and airtightly extended, we have a silicone adapter for easy ratcheting. The adapter is the icing on the cake for our hot air ducts. It might work without, but it's definitely better with. For one thing, it is safer for people, equipment or cars because the edges, fringes and wire ends of the cut pipe disappear under the silicone cover and therefore have no chance of scratching, pricking or tearing. It is also very practical: one end of the silicone adapter is semi-permanently attached to the cut-off pipe with one of the cable ties supplied. The other end of the adapter can then be tightened to a connection or extension as required using the ratchet clamp (ideal for our parking heaters). Without the ratchet, the silicone adapter, which only makes the pipe 5 mm thicker, is a perfect and aesthetically pleasing end sleeve. After all, the eye camps with you and who wants to look at fraying pipe ends.

Luckily, modern synthetic high-performance threads make these circumstances much less precarious as the phrase suggests. So why not rely on strings or cords made from such threads in your wilderness adventures? If you regularly encounter extreme outdoor conditions in your hobby or your job, you need light, durable and multi-purpose equipment which gives you the most performance per pound. Apart from a good knife, a length of good string is part of the absolute essentials in Bushcraft. The Nakatanenga cord sports a Kernmantle-style structure, an extremely light yet highly tearproof synthetic material, which, incidentally, we also use in our heavy duty winch cables. But in contrast to these ropes, the Survival Cord is only an astonishing 1.7 mm thin, while still boasting a breaking load of incredible 250 kg. That is more or less the weight for standard survival paracords, which in turn are usually more than twice as thick, though. Carry our Nakatanenga cord with you and it’ll be a load off your mind.  You can use the 33 m length of string in your survival pouch or backpack to weave a thicker rope for emergencies. Another good idea is to take about 2 m or so to make an equally stylish and handy survival bracelet. How-to videos can be easily found on Youtube. With such a bracelet you’ll always carry your potential lifesavers in different lengths with you,  without the risk of losing, forgetting or misplacing them. Mechanic Tarp  No plan without a tarp! You need them every now and then when you're on the road and often only have some poor makeshift solutions to hand: fraying fabric sheets, crumbling rubber mats, old carpets. That's bad! As we are known for not doing things by halves, our in-house tailoring department has come up with a multi-purpose tarpaulin that can really be used universally, again and again and in all situations: under the car, on the beach, at the shooting range or even on the yoga lawn - no problem at all. The Nakatanenga tarp made from lorry tarpaulin is robust, practical and well thought-out. PVC-coated polyester fabric makes it extremely tear-resistant, waterproof and UV-resistant. Rustproof eyelets are used at the corners to allow fastening with straps or elasticated cords. This means that our universal tarpaulin can also quickly be used as a windscreen cover for the winter. It is guaranteed to be cleaned quickly after use under the oil pan or a baby's bottom when changing nappies. The flexible material can be rolled up small and stowed away to save space in the car, bag or rucksack. The drawstring straps are sewn in, as is the carry handle. So nothing gets lost.
