Even the best roof rack isn’t worth much, when you can’t access it quickly and safely – especially when we’re talking very tall 4x4s like the Mercedes G-Class. Depending on your vehicle specs and the roof rack, you may face a climb of well over two 2 meters with the G-wagon.
This light but extremely sturdy aluminum ladder with its four steps features an angled design following the contours of the G-Class’ rear. The bottom of the ladder is wider than the top, making especially the descents much safer. A matte black powder-coated finish is as elegant as it is robust, even when you get a lot of use out of it.

Boxier, tougher and even more capable, that’s the Suzuki Jimny 2 (GJ/HJ MY 2019). Even if cargo space has grown considerably in comparison with the previous model, optimizing your usable load capacity is still crucial if you want to get the most out of this little giant. Considering the limited interior that means first and foremost to use the roof space to the full extent: either with our own dedicated CargoBear system for the Jimny or any other conventional roof rails, bars or racks.
Whatever solution you prefer, our light and strong aluminum ladder makes accessing the roof area a lot easier. Climbing to the rooftop is safer, more comfortable and allows for stress-free loading, fastening or strapping down of your cargo. The ladder is mounted on the tailgate only and has no connection with the roof or the rack, making it ideal for all kinds of carrier systems. Additionally, there is no need to drill holes either as the ladder is custom-designed to fit existing mounting points and screw holes: on the spare wheel mount, the tailgate’s drip rail and the bottom right door hinge. This also allows for quick and easy de-installation without damage or marks.
The ladder is made from high-quality aluminum and features black powder coating – a perfect match for our modular CargoBear roof rack system.

One of the many strengths of the Jimny II is its great 360 panoramic view, rare for a 4x4. But the large windows – relative to car size – have one big disadvantage: the heat build-up on hot days is considerable and that’s especially problematic for a car that is a preferred mode of transport for pets and working dogs.

When it comes to powerful performance, our very own CargoBear is definitely the Grizzly among roof racks. Strong, sturdy and massively versatile, it was way ahead of its time when we introduced it in 2016. But the world is turning, evolution doesn’t favor a standstill and if you want to survive in nature, you need to keep innovating.
Leaner and meaner is this new bear, the CargoBear 2.0, when he emerges from his winter den in Berg. Same load bearing strength, same solidity, same rigidity, but greatly reduced fight weight: Your 4x4 has to carry around 30 % less weight on the roof. And on top of it, the new CargoBear comes with a reduced price tag as well.
How did we do it? The crucial difference lies in a new construction design. Removing the comparatively heavy longitudinal connecting beams, their structural function has been taken over by newly developed perforated HIGRIP plates between the crossbars and angled end-plates for the sides. The new design achieves (nearly) the same structural strength as its predecessor but reduces the net weight considerably.
The CargoBear 2.0 has been designed for a load capacity of 300 kg off-road (with evenly distributed load). This can easily be doubled on the road. Theoretically, that is, because it’s important to make two points when it comes to roof racks. One, keep in mind that your vehicle’s center of gravity can shift upwards considerably when carrying a roof rack with cargo, especially off-road. And two, when loading your roof rack, the limitations will most likely result from your vehicles approved roof load which in most cases will be significantly below the specifications of the rack itself.
Some of the CargoBear 2.0’s features stay the same, however, because we found them hard to improve: this includes the jet-black, super-flat look, the high-performance material and the modular versatility. Furthermore, all accessories, additional components, roof tents etc. are fully compatible with the first generation. The long G-Class will finally get a CargoBear with four crossbars and we are also working on a model for the new Defender. So, bear with us, we will release real results when we have them and not CGI renders like some of our competition.
And last but not least, the old heavier CargoBear with longitudinal beams and checker plate will be continued exclusively for classic Defenders who need specific heavy-duty applications.
Measured from the gutter, the CargoBear is approx. 20cm high. On the roof it is approx. 5-6 cm - depending on the roof, condition, year of construction etc.

Innovative 7" LED main headlight with proven reflector technology combines low- and hight-beam as well as position light in one lamp. Original dimensions and standard H4 socket mean that this is an easy to fit, durable replacement upgrade for any Mercedes G Wagon.

Many users of classical vehicles, especially off-road vehicles (Defender, Wrangler, G-Wagon) have been looking for modern headlights with classical looks. Up to now 7“ LED headlights had offered better illumination than halogen headlights, yet they didn't give optimum illumination or were of inferior design. In addition these were often retrofitting solutions that didn't meet OEM specifications. The new NCC 7“ Bi-LED headlight was especially tailored to meet the OEM requirements. All components, from the LED to the plug, are designed and produced accordingly making up a perfect overall system.
The design of the 7“ Bi-LED headlights reminds more of a conventional halogen headlight that looks like the well-known classic design. The familiar appearance of the vehicle is thus not changed much and essentially still looks like “OE“.
The illumination level of the new NCC 7“ Bi-LED headlight is equally good as that of a Xenon headlight. However, the new NOLDEN headlight system has the big advantage of a lower current consumption, which increases the life of the system significantly thus noticeably lowering the operating costs. In a normal case it can be expected that the life of the NCC 7“ Bi-LED headlight is much longer than that of the vehicle. The ligths don't require headlight adjustment or the headlight cleaning system of the Xenon system, retrofitting with the new NCC 7“ Bi-LED headlight is therefore much easier, faster and in the end less expensive than is the case with the Xenon headlights.
