Bushes are by and large the first components in the chassis suspension that degrade due to ageing generally or mechanical, thermal and chemical exposure specifically. If they don’t get replaced in time, the first warning signs you’ll experience are rattling or clanking noises, deterioration of handling and impaired road safety. Ultimately, critical damages to the solid components can occur, from radius arms to shock absorbers.
This applies specifically to vehicles like Defenders, operating under heavy duty conditions both off- and on-roads and particularly when towing trailers. Our complete OEM replacement kits include bushes for the entire suspension (except for shock absorbers) for Defenders Tdi, Td5 or Td4. As a general rule, in order to maintain handling integrity and prevent imbalances in the suspension system, it is highly recommended to replace the entire kit once severe wear and tear occurred.

FRONT SHAFTS AND CV JOINTS WITH ABS
This kit consists of two half shafts, two CV joints and two heavy-duty drive flanges.
The Raptor Heavy Duty front shafts are made from SAE4340 Nickel Chromoly alloy steel, that provide the optimum level of strength and flex when heat-treated. They have the ability to twist without breaking as well as extremely high fatigue resistance, which enables the shafts to tolerate repeated shock loading. This ability to flex without breaking also helps protecting other drivetrain components. All shafts are 24 spline and primarily suited to post 1994 axles, although they can be fitted to earlier vehicles with additional work.
Please note that MY2002 vehicles have been delivered with both types of rear axle - please check which axle has been fitted to your vehicle. Please choose your axle type.
