All the nooks and crannies in your Defender attract and hold water or wet dirt, which makes them a hotbed for corrosion – small wonder that the door areas are often affected by rust. Especially the C pillars in 4/5-door models frequently require replacement in Defender restorations because fittings, screw holes, undersides and the gaps between struts and body panels are a breeding ground for corrosion and often develop critical damage.
Instead of piecemeal repair with angle grinder and welder, it’s often preferable to swap the entire component. We are offering individual C posts for the right or left side of all models where door seals are only pushed in and not riveted. If you have riveted seals, they need to be adapted.
