Nakatanenga Evolution 270° awning, incl. two side panels, stone-grey On long journeys, camping holidays or a quick trip to the lake, the 270° roof awning from Roof Lodge turns every Landy, T5 & Co into a practical and, above all, quickly opened camp. Once you have found the perfect spot for the night or even the whole holiday, the awning fans out in no time at all from the left-hand side of the vehicle to far behind the rear of the vehicle, is then supported by four aluminium telescopic poles and tensioned with the ropes. With the help of flexible side wall tarpaulins that can be quickly attached, an optimal combination of weather protection and openness can be created. Two side panels are included. This creates an adaptable, dry, wind-protected and shaded area for cooking, eating, working and relaxing. The material of the awning is high-quality, PU-coated RipStop polycotton, a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The functional fabric is extremely tear-resistant, water- and dirt-repellent and, due to its relatively high weight of 280 g/m2, also produces significantly less fluttering noise in the wind. Our Roof Lodge awning, which weighs 16.8 kg (incl. side panels), can be mounted on the right and left of the vehicle's roof rack, making it ideal for covering crucial areas such as the driver's, passenger's, side and rear doors, depending on the vehicle model and size. The awning measures 4.35m in total length and covers 4.1m at the side and 2m at the rear (see drawing in the product images). The area of the awning covers approx. 9 sqm ². The awning is secured at the rear with the included tensioning strap set. Two 25 mm wide nylon straps in three different lengths (25, 75 and 125 cm) guarantee stable lashing even with the most varied vehicle/roof rack configurations. But proper protection from wind, weather, sun and unwanted attention comes only with the addition of side walls. Conditions vary from location to location and even throughout a single day: the sun is moving from east to west and the wind is changing directions, too. By the sea, it becomes a lot stronger in the evenings and carries dust, sand and the occasional shower. But aside from weather protection, the side tarps also create valuable privacy in crowded camp grounds and other popular locations. Our side walls come in pairs and are the best solution for all these challenges. Simply stick the velcro fasteners to the roof awning’s frame and fasten the tarps to the ground using the four included tent pegs. All of that is simply a question of minutes and if the wind, the sun or a new location demand a change in position you can easily swap the sidewalls to accommodate the situation. The two side wall tarps are made from high quality PU-coated RipStop polycotton, a blended fabric containing 65% polyester and 35% cotton. This highly functional material is extremely resistant to tearing, it is water and dirt repellent and due to its high specific weight of 280 g/ m2 the material will make less noise in the wind. The tarp’s inner side features a layer of aluminum to assist in regulating temperature and to diffuse and amplify low intensity light sources like candles, camping lanterns etc. Color:Stone gray. On expedition, on holiday or just for an afternoon at the lake. The basic version of the roof awning comes with two side panels. If you want to turn the awning into an enclosed storage area that is protected on all sides, you can order the two additional side sections here.  Like the side walls already included with the awning, the two additional tarpaulins are made of high-quality, PU-coated RipStop polycotton, a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The functional fabric is extremely tear-resistant, water- and dirt-repellent and, due to its relatively high weight of 280 g/m2 , it also produces significantly less fluttering noise in the wind. It is aluminium-coated on the inside. This helps regulate heat and also ensures pleasant and effective use of existing light sources due to the diffusing reflection. The side tarpaulins are attached to the poles as required and can be lashed together. This means that when the awning is completely closed, there is hardly any surface for wind and weather to attack    

Car awnings are fantastic pieces of kit. Where else can you chillax better after a hard day on the road or outdoors than in the shade of a car awning? Correct, the answer is nowhere! This fitting set is designed to mount various car awnings and awning tents with 90 brackets or suitable adapters onto traditional roof rack systems with square steel bars. We recommend that each bracket is fixed by two counter plates both on top and underneath the square bar. M8 hex bolts and stop nuts guarantee secure fastening.
