This means that the heater automatically reduces the injection volume according to the ambient air pressure. Roughly speaking, from 2000 meters upwards, the loss of output per 500m altitude is approx. 5%. Manufacturer tests up to 3440m were problem-free. No problems are to be expected up to 4000m.
