Our radiator grille is the visual “icing on the cake” for the Defender front and replaces the standard plastic grille. The black or silver powder-coated aluminum grille is oval or square perforated and fits both Defenders with and without air conditioning.   The delivery includes a set of high-quality stainless steel screws for simple and permanent installation on the vehicle.

Glow plug connector Land Rover Defender If the diesel has difficulty getting going when starting from cold, and if it nails and smokes particularly badly, this is often due to the glow plugs. Before replacing the plugs, however, you should first check the condition of the cables and plugs. Often, the problem is simply that cables and plugs are exposed through porous plastic sheathing and the electrical contacts are suffering. As a rule, the service life of the plugs far exceeds that of the cable and plug connections, because cables and plugs and their insulation are naturally much more exposed to mechanical and weather-related influences. With our glow plug connector repair kits, Defender with Td5 and Td4 2.4l engines can be very easily retrofitted in case of problems with cables or connectors. This is also recommended if the glow plug set is being replaced anyway. The advantage of the repair kit is that the next time a problem occurs, it is not necessary to replace the entire wiring harness at great expense; instead, it is sufficient to replace the plug and cable up to the crimp connection. This saves time and money and is also no problem for hobby screwdrivers. ATTENTION: Does NOT fit for Tdi and Td4 2,2l. Scope of delivery: 4 plugs

Strong, sturdy and massively versatile, it was way ahead of its time when we introduced it in 2016. But the world is turning, evolution doesn’t favor a standstill and if you want to survive in nature, you need to keep innovating. Leaner and meaner is this new bear, the CargoBear 2.0, when he emerges from his winter den in Berg. Same load bearing strength, same solidity, same rigidity, but greatly reduced fight weight: Your 4x4 has to carry around 30 % less weight on the roof. And on top of it, the new CargoBear comes with a reduced price tag as well. How did we do it? The crucial difference lies in a new construction design. Removing the comparatively heavy longitudinal connecting beams, their structural function has been taken over by newly developed perforated HIGRIP plates between the crossbars and angled end-plates for the sides. The new design achieves (nearly) the same structural strength as its predecessor but reduces the net weight considerably.  The CargoBear 2.0 has been designed for a load capacity of 300 kg off-road (with evenly distributed load). This can easily be doubled on the road. Theoretically, that is, because it’s important to make two points when it comes to roof racks. One, keep in mind that your vehicle’s centre of gravity can shift upwards considerably when carrying a roof rack with cargo, especially off-road. And two, when loading your roof rack, the limitations will most likely result from your vehicles approved roof load which in most cases will be significantly below the specifications of the rack itself. Some of the CargoBear 2.0’s features stay the same, however, because we found them hard to improve: this includes the jet-black, super-flat look, the high-performance material and the modular versatility. Furthermore, all accessories, additional components, roof tents etc. are fully compatible with the first generation.  And last but not least, the old heavier CargoBear with longitudinal beams and checker plate will be continued exclusively for classic Defenders who need specific heavy-duty applications.  PLEASE NOTE: In Defender with pop-up roof / lift roof, the original roof is often shortened. If necessary, the roof rack then does not fit. Please measure beforehand or contact us in advance if you have any questions. Clutch spring for Land Rover Defender It's easy to forget nowadays, but driving a car used to be real work and you don't have to go all the way back to the accelerator or starter crank.   In the Defender, many things have become more user-friendly over the decades: power steering and electric windows take the strain off the arms, but especially in TD5s and older it is often the case that the clutch leg has to be much stronger than the accelerator foot. The physical effort involved in depressing the clutch pedal quickly becomes noticeable, especially in the short gear ratio off-road, when manoeuvring with a trailer or even when stop-and-go in the city.   As an ergonomic and cost-effective solution to this annoying problem, we now offer a new torsion spring that reduces the effort required to depress the clutch by up to 45% compared to the original return springs. The new spring can be fitted to the 300TDI, TD5 and TD4. The necessary sockets are supplied. The clutch pedal conversion also works on older models than those mentioned above, if retrofitting with a newer pedal box is possible. Radiator cover for standard radiator grille The Nakatanenga Radiator Cover helps the engine to reach operating temperature more quickly in the cold season, thereby speeding up heating in the passenger compartment. The cover is suitable for the standard radiator grille (not on special models) of all Land Rover Defenders, whether with or without air conditioning. The radiator cover is attached to the radiator grille with a loop system, i.e. no additional holes or screws are required. In addition, the cover is fixed in place with press studs. This means that the radiator cover can also be removed again without leaving any residue.There are three possible uses: fully closed, half closed (top or bottom) and fully open. The cooler cover was manufactured according to US military standards (MIL-SPEC) and our specifications.
