Fender box for Land Rover Defender, selectable right or left Defenders draw their air for the heater on the passenger side and since there is no doubling up for pesky details like right and left hand drive at Land Rover, the fenders are the same for both sides with a plastic dummy vent for the unused intake. But that’s a good thing, because if you are into tinkering, optimizing and upgrading, you will find a neat pre-cut body opening to hold additional waterproof storage or functional space irresistible. Mounting our lockable black fender box is as easy as it gets. It will take you under 5 minutes to unscrew the old cover and replace it with our locker by fastening it to the existing screw holes. If all you need is some exterior space for oily rags or gloves, that’s your job done right there. If you are feeling more ambitious, you might want to install electric sockets, pneumatic connectors or a kill-switch for your winch for instance. In that case, you will appreciate the fact that the floor of the box is loose to make these jobs that much easier. The hinge was rolled onto the sheet metal with a special tool and connected with a 4mm stainless steel pin. The lock is provided by international market leader EMKA in western Germany, includes two keys and a protective cap. Nakatanenga quality, all Made in Germany. Tailgate Organizer - tailgate organiser system for various vehicles.

Where to put all those little things in the touring vehicle? First-aid kits, multimeters, work gloves, winch controls, tyre repair kit etc.? - all that needs to be stowed away. The Tailgate Organiser makes use of the mostly unused space on the tailgate. In several pockets with MOLLE attachment system (abbreviation for MOdular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment), all kinds of small items can be stowed and are at hand when they are needed.

The advantages of MOLLE Laser-Cut compared to MOLLE with stitching:

lighter in comparison, as much less sewing material is used
quicker to attach and detach e.g. first aid bag
flatter than sewn MOLLE
prevents unintentional snagging
optimum hold and no slipping

Material: 100% nylon

And by the way: At Nakatanenga we only use materials with 100% nylon PU coating for all textile articles. Unlike PVC, nylon PU (polyurethane) is free of harmful phthalate-based plasticisers. Until recently, low-molecular phthalates were the most common plasticisers for plastics of all kinds and are even used in food and cosmetics. However, they accumulate in the environment and are suspected of acting like endogenous hormones due to their molecular nature. This is highly questionable from a toxicological point of view and is considered a trigger for various diseases, including cancer. For Nakatanenga, it is therefore a matter of course to rely exclusively on ecologically and health-safe alternatives such as nylon PU when coating textile products.

Fastening:
For mounting, the cover must be removed, for this our dismantling tool is perfectly suitable, then holes must be drilled, cover put back on and then only screwed on.

To ensure the best possible availability of this product, the choice of bags supplied may vary in exceptional cases. If a single bag is not available, it will be replaced by a model of at least the same quality.
