Tent skin of the lightweight tent made of 100% Oxford nylon with ripstop, an extremely strong but amazingly light material weighing just 102 g/m². Compared to the 320 g/m² fabric of our Evolution 2, this is a reduction of a whopping 78%.  The tent skin and the awning of the Lightweight are identical in terms of fabric, PU-coated on the inside and waterproofed on the outside. This means that no compromises are made in terms of wind and rain protection.

Sense and purpose of an awning compact extension? Glare protection when the sun is low in the skyThe compact extension was developed directly from practical requirements - a nice formulation that in itself means nothing more than: "We were so annoyed and dazzled by the low sun one fine day that we wanted to remedy the situation." And already the initial question is actually fully answered. But that would only be half the truth. On the following picture you can see an awning without extension shown above: As the sun sinks (the same applies in the morning, of course - but for the sake of clarity we will limit ourselves here to the afternoon or evening situation), the light falls further and further under the awning. At a certain position of the sun, the light/shadow dividing line reaches the eye level of a seated person - from now on, the sun can dazzle until it sets. The illustration below shows an awning with a compact extension, which offers several advantages with its angled bracing: When the sun is high, a much larger area is shaded.Only when the sun is setting, the light/shadow dividing line reaches the eye level of a seated person. Here, of course, deviations are possible, since both the slope of the guy, the size of the person and his sitting position are influencing factors.But the most important thing is: You can see what's going on in your surroundings despite the glare shield! If the eyes and the lower edge of the compact extension are on a horizontal plane, then the view would extend exactly to the (ideal) horizon. If you compare that with a moderately braced complete front part, where the view is just between a few centimetres to a few steps - what a difference! What if the sun comes in from the side?Well, then the vehicle will probably have to be moved. But not with our new compact extension. All you have to do is unhinge it from the front, and you can attach it to the side in just a few easy steps. Voilà!But please note: The awnings have a uniform depth of two meters, but differ in their widths. Ideally it hit here all those who have a 200er awning. Owners of a 250 have three options: They simply allow the extension to protrude when used from the side - utility over beauty.You opt for a 200 compact extension - this does not detract from the function.You buy two compact extensions at once - a 250 for the front and a 200 for the side. Mobile parking heater with aluminum box, various versions Make way, here comes the second generation of our mobile parking heaters in a box! We have packed even more technology, even more experience and even more customer feedback into our new mobile heating boxes. If you are looking for a small, self-sufficient and portable heat source with unrivaled capacity for cold days and nights in unheated outdoor shelters or temporary accommodation, you get everything you need (or want) in a small, weatherproof aluminum box. Available in three modular versions with different configurations, the Nakatanenga heating box provides the perfect, independent heat source for tents, gazebos, garden sheds, mountain huts, snack stands, stalls and much more. The heart of the mobile parking heater is the Autoterm Luft 2D, a diesel-powered air heater with a maximum heat output of 1.8 kW and a diesel consumption of just under a quarter of a liter per hour at full power. With a tank capacity of 18 liters in the twin-tank version, this means that it can heat at full throttle for over 70 hours. The economical unit, which is also very quiet at 55 dB thanks to the exhaust silencer, is controlled by a digital control unit with timer in the version with two batteries and can also be switched on and off by radio remote control. This allows you to preheat your camper, roof tent, caravan or hunting lodge in good time for getting up or for the evening, for example, and operate it from the place where you are staying or sleeping inside*. In contrast to conventional lead-acid AGM technology, lithium batteries combine superior charging properties with much lower weight and volume and a long service life. LiFePo4 batteries can be deep-discharged without any problems, which sooner or later leads to irreparable damage with AGM batteries, as the rule of thumb here is that you should never draw more than 50% charge. If you are not dependent on the greater cold tolerance of AGM batteries, you should definitely consider the higher costs for LiFePo4 batteries and compatible charging technology. The weight and space savings, the long service life and the uncomplicated discharging and charging of the battery are strong arguments in favor of the investment. What's more, LiFePo4 technology is also extremely safe And a special note on aluminum: Although we take the utmost care during storage and shipping, as with all our products, aluminum boxes can always show minimal scratches, stains, dents or other surface features upon delivery. These are material-related and result from the specific properties of the light metal.  In contact with oxygen, aluminum forms a natural, corrosion-protecting patina and is also relatively soft compared to steel, which is three times heavier. This makes the material ideal for use in sheet metal, especially when weight and resistance are important. On the other hand, however, it also means that aluminum can never be completely free of patina or other marks, even on delivery: Small scratches, stains etc. therefore do not constitute grounds for complaint. Ultimately, aluminum boxes are intended to be robust objects of daily use. Like everything that is actively used, they develop an individual patina and every trace of use tells a story. So, have fun with it! Please note the variants without batteries:  Most portable power stations or battery boxes (such as Goal Zero, Eco Flow, Bluetti etc.) are unfortunately not suitable for operating mobile parking heaters.
