Since microfiber towels were introduced, “as little as possible” has become a lot less, fortunately. Gone are the days when you had to stuff bulky cotton towels into your bags, often heavy with moisture.
Our towel sets include a lightweight mesh bag and a choice of one or two hand towels or a larger bath towel. Made from 100 % polyester microfiber, they are your perfect travel companion. At 320g/m2, our choice of fabric is slightly heavier than your standard synthetic outdoor towel. But the thicker material was chosen for a reason: it’s much softer, more absorbent and offers a lot more comfort on your skin. The sizes are really generous, too, with 50 x 90 cm for the smaller and 70 x 130 cm for the larger towel. It’s the perfect sweet spot between packing size and a great sense of well-being and comfort.

Few things are really indispensable when camping, backpacking or during survival expeditions in the wilderness. A multipurpose receptacle is definitely one of them: for storage, washing or simply to keep things clean and away from dirt and dust. Our folding bowl made from 100% Nylon is just made for that. It is much lighter than solid plastic or aluminum bowls and requires much less storing space in your backpack or on your person. It simply folds up into a small roll and is neatly held together by a sturdy strap that is sewn onto the outside.
The interior PU-coating makes the folding bowl absolutely watertight and also allows for easy cleaning. D-rings, straps and loops attached to the sides can be used to hang the bowl from lines, hooks or branches to dry it out or to store food items away from ground dwelling insects.

The idea behind our DABUCKETS is quite simple. The flexible bins are made from 100% Nylon / Polyamide with PU coating which creates a tough and watertight second layer to hold standard size bin liners or garbage bags. The small DABUCKET TRASH takes any standard household 5 L bag, making it the perfect container for all the trash and junk that keeps piling up in your car.
The DABUCKET TRASH’s sewn-in Velcro patch will stick to any fleece or regular car carpet, holding the bin firmly in place. You can also fix it to a Keder rail using the attached fastener piece. The small DABUCKET has a 13 cm drawstring sleeve on top. Once pulled shut with the draw cord nothing can fall out and odors are kept inside. You can carry or hang the DABUCKET TRASH by a small loop on the upper rim.

The Dutch Oven, often referred to simply as a pot (sic), is available here together with a sturdy tripod, a pot stand and, of course, a lid lifter. Although the pot itself is available in three sizes, we only offer it as a set in the two most popular sizes. Of course, the tripod, the lid lifter and the pot stand can also be used with the pound pot (coincidentally also the name of a very popular Dutch Oven dish - but here we mean our 12-quart pot). The pots are also particularly suitable for induction cookers, as well as for all other types (ceramic, open fire, etc.). Please select the desired size.A practical tip from Harry:Tried and tested for travelling: one of the two sets offered here! You can also attach one of these beautiful enamelled percolators to the tripod for making coffee. But be careful! Not all percolators are suitable for this type of coffee preparation! And... the handle can get devilishly hot! Our lid lifter doesn't really help here either. But if anyone knows of a practical way of using the Dutch oven lid lifter with a percolator, please let me knowWhere were we again? Exactly! With our DO sets... ideal for travelling, but probably a little undersized for a garden party. So in itself it's perfectly adequate for a garden party, but not for a G-A-R-T-E-N-P-A-R-T-Y!That's when you need our pound pot - and to supplement and round off the food base, you can always find a quick use for the smaller brother. And if you want to serve the much-quoted icing on the cake as a first aid against second hunger late at night: Take a piece of beef of your choice, it should be around 300-400 grams and nicely marbled, and it must be able to fit into the sizzle pan later (a flank steak is really tasty, but completely unsuitable for this), and put it in the oven set to around 55°C, but not immediately taken out of the fridge - preheating is superfluous, unless your G-A-R-T-E-N-P-A-R-T-Y is taking place in the Arctic Circle.There, in the oven, it can then remain for a long, really long time, but of course not until the end of time. So don't overdo it! And the following really does apply to this preparation: don't add salt! Garlic, thyme and/or rosemary add a familiar flavour, sage and coriander a less familiar but very interesting one. When your guests' appetite for a savoury or tasty treat reawakens, simply let the Sizzel Pan heat up in the embers and then place the meat inside. 45-60 seconds per side is usually sufficient and a knob of good butter should not be missing. And by the way: At Nakatanenga, we only use materials with 100% nylon PU coating for all textile articles. Nylon PU (polyurethanes) is, unlike PVC, free from harmful phthalate-based plasticizers. Low molecular weight phthalates were until recently the most common plasticizers for plastics of all kinds and are even used in food and cosmetics. However, they accumulate in the environment and are due to their molecular nature suspected of acting as the body's own hormones. This is toxicologically highly questionable and is considered the trigger for various diseases, including cancer. For Nakatanenga, it goes without saying that when it comes to coating textile products, it is only possible to use environmentally friendly and harmless alternatives such as nylon PU.

Our Nakatanenga Bear loves to scrub up and keeps everything neat, tidy and protected. That’s why we are introducing our own hanging wash bag with the bear logo on it, for travel, outdoor and camping. Everything else out there hasn’t really done it for us, so we made some key improvements to the most important details and put them all in one cool roll!
Advantage #1 for our Nakatanenga toiletry bag: lots of mesh! We’re using great amounts of mesh material especially in the interior zip bag area, so that the wash roll can dry off quickly after you’ve been to a tiny wet room. If your shampoo or deodorant has leaked again, you can quickly rinse the mesh in a sink or basin. The wash bags exterior is Nylon PU-coated and therefore extremely robust, easy to clean and water resistant.
Advantage #2: our firm G-hook! Even brand wash bags often sport these cheap round hooks that come off with the slightest movement or push. As a result, your personal hygiene items are too often scattered on less than appealing bathroom floors. Our G-hook closes the rolled-up wash bag tightly and you can also use it to hang the bag securely in windy or cramped places. We also enclose a hooked suction cup to firmly fix the bag to smooth surfaces like tiles or glass.
Advantage #3: Roll it up! Roll beats bag, anytime, even when it comes to wash bags. Rolling up your gear minimizes the required storage space and holds everything tightly in place, thereby preventing damage to the bag or your hygiene articles by pointy or sharp objects within. When containers are firmly held together, they are also less likely to accidentally open up and spill the contents. There are two additional loops inside to hold your razor, toothbrush or similar. A water-resistant pocket keeps moisture sensitive items like band aids or medication dry and clean.
Advantage #4: Velcro! Your mirror is kept in place by a Velcro patch. If you need to clean the mirror or use it in your hand, it’s easily taken off the bag. A second Velcro patch on the outside can be used for personalizing your wash roll. Just get one of our handy ID patches and write your name on it. No more accidental grabbing of someone else’s stuff.
