The awning is up, seats and tables unfolded and even the roof tent is ready. That’s the moment when you realize how sweaty and sticky you are from a long day behind the wheel. A kingdom for a shower, in the middle of nowhere! No worries, we’ve been on the case and this is what we‘ve come up with: A mounted shower unit for overlanders, campers and adventurers. Nakatanenga shower tubes are attached to the side of a CargoBear or any other roof rack. You fill it with the amount of water you need, pressurize the tank with air to guarantee consistent water flow and off you go. During the day, the tube’s black PE material provides free solar off-grid heating for the water, no energy input required, no CO2 emissions. Isn’t that just great at the end of a tough day? The shower tubes come in three sizes – 1,240, 2,100 und 2,750 mm – respectively giving you volumes of 9.4, 17.5 and 23.7 l. We deliver the tubes with CargoBear mounting brackets, tap, handheld shower head and spiral hose pipe. You can attach your own accessories to the ½” connector, of course. The shower tubes is a really neat solution for all your muddy outdoor hobbies, too. How often have you wished you could just quickly hose down clothes, boots, sports equipment or pets before getting into the 4x4 or loading it up? We know. Since the tubes are not equipped with safety valves, we recommend using regular bicycle hand or foot pumps to pressurize them. Manually created pressure will be perfectly sufficient to create a constant flow of water. Brackets for other roof racks than the CargoBear have to be ordered separately. It attaches to the usual Dixon-Bate rail and thus moves the mounting spot about 30 cm further back, clearing most spare tires. No cumbersome attachment to the roof rails or the trunk needed: simply lock it onto your car’s standard ball hitch when you need to and hey presto off you go. Theoretically, that is, because for most 4x4 owners, the rear-mounted spare wheel will usually be in the way of a regular hitch-mounted bike rack. But that’s where Nakatanenga comes in.Our premium quick-release adapter extends your existing ball hitch by 25 cm, enough to reach beyond most spare wheels. The adapter locks onto the ball hitch quickly, securely and can also be padlocked. We advise to take careful measurements before ordering, so that you can be sure the 25 cm extension is sufficient for your individual set-up. Please also verify that you have enough space for the quick-release locking handle on the right side of the hitch. Your existing trailer hitch has to clear any obstructions like bumper indentations or the like for the handle to be operational. The OSRAM TYREinflate 2000 is a rechargeable tyre pump with a digital backlit display for easy and accurate pressure measurement and inflation of tyres, showing pressure values in BAR, kPA and PSI. The OSRAM TYREinflate 2000 has an internal memory and, thanks to the memory function, up to four different values can be programmed and stored for different tyres. It is also equipped with an auto-stop function: the OSRAM TYREinflate 2000 stops automatically when the preset pressure is reached. Thanks to the USB cable supplied, the OSRAM TYREinflate 2000 is rechargeable and no 12V socket is required for the power supply, so it is not only used for inflating car tyres, but can also be used for inflating bicycle, scooter and motorbike tyres.
