Airline rails would have to be invented if they didn't already exist. Few lashing systems are as flexible, stable and secure at the same time. Anyone who has ever had to lash large, uneven and sometimes delicate objects in the hold or on the roof knows what we are talking about.
So how do you make airline rails even better? With rubber profiles from Trekfinder, which are clicked into the rails. It's easy, quick and holds firmly and securely. With their 3.5 mm height, the rubber profiles are hardly noticeable and first and foremost prevent dirt and dust from penetrating into unused rails or rail sections. This is particularly important on loading areas or trailers, because dirty rails make it much more difficult to attach fittings and lashing points. Of course, the same applies to snow and ice in winter and who always wants to scrape the airline rails free? On top of that, the covers ensure better load securing when the load is placed directly on them. In the case of roof racks, they also reduce wind noise, and when the rails are attached to the side, nothing gets caught by vegetation off-road. A lot of performance for little money.

Yet it's a great place to pack away light and flat items in particular - if you have one of our ingeniously practical cargo nets installed.The 102 x 76 cm net for the old Defender (up to 2016) can be stretched in different ways depending on the vehicle size or configuration. In the 110, for example, this means at the very rear above the load compartment or the third row of seats, or in the centre. As the net is always accessible from the front and rear, this practical storage space extension can even be accessed quickly from the driver or front passenger seat in hardtops, camper conversions and other two-seaters.Tightening the flexible cargo mesh in the roof liner is extremely easy with 14 straps and belt clamps. The supplied expanding rivets also enable the aforementioned customised positioning of the holder. A 10.5 m long elastic band can also be pulled in under the mesh in a zigzag shape. The bulkhead is pretty much the most complex body part in a Landy – and one of the most vulnerable components, too. For one, it’s sporting many edges, corners, folds, curves and rivet connections and requires a considerable number of screw holes: to the frame, to the connections in the engine bay and to the windshield. Add to that a whole bunch of openings for steering, pedals, air and electrics and you see the problem.
All this structural complexity combined with its positioning exposes the bulkhead to water splashing up from below or trickling down from above. Dirt and chemicals collect in the nooks and crannies and trap moisture almost permanently. On the inside of the cabin condensation or leaks can produce the same effect behind the dashboard, panels or floor mats, thereby creating constant moisture exposure from both sides. No wonder, that the bulkhead is one of those components that suffer most from visible or hidden corrosion. Over time, it can even affect the frame.

This is why we have asked a renowned automotive component supplier to produce an interior LED light for the Land Rover Defender for us. Our Nakatanenga LED Interior Light allows easy "plug & play" replacement of the standard interior light (front and back) of your Land Rover Defender.
Lamps are sold separately, if you want to replace both lights please order this item twice.
The cover and bulb of the existing light (AMR3155) are removed, the adaptor, LED circuit board and the new cover with switch are fitted - that's it, all tool-free and taking no more than 5 minutes!
All previous functions of the interior light (on/off/door on) are kept, additionally you can switch to red light, which increases visibility at night. The last colour setting is stored.This is also useful for hunters or when hunting, as game perceives red light much less as an irritation than white light. Keyword eye adaptation: Red light is also used to avoid interrupting the dark adaptation of the eyes, as the eye reacts much more strongly to white light from a lamp, even at low brightness.
As some dislike the typical cold-white light of many LED lights, we can also supply a version with warm-white (slightly 'yellower') light output.
Unlike many other aftermarket lights, our LED interior light maintains the looks of the original. Can be used both for the front and rear interior roof light.
