The R380 manual gearbox, which was installed in 4 revisions from 1998 to 2006 in the 300Tdi and Td5, among others, owes its name to the 380Nm input force for which the gearbox was originally designed. After initial teething troubles in conjunction with the LT230T transfer case and corresponding improvements, the reliable R380 was only replaced when European environmental regulations made it necessary to switch to the Td4 engine with its six-speed gearbox.
We offer top-quality reconditioned R380 / MT82 replacement gearboxes for Td5 and Td4. For this item, we charge an additional deposit of 500.00 euros for your current manual gearbox. The deposit will be refunded if you send the old gearbox to us and it is in good enough condition to be overhauled.
If you send us your old gearbox, we will refund you the amount of 500.00 euros.
However, this is subject to the condition that the housing is in good condition and the gearbox can still be overhauled.

Winchester Gears Stage LT230
Winchester Gears Stage LT230 are improved versions of the standard Defender and Discovery transfer cases. Common sources of failure have been carefully analysed and effective solutions implemented.
Sleeved main housing
The bore of the intermediate shaft, which is prone to wear and oil leaks, is machined and fitted with a steel sleeve. In addition, the frequently damaged bearing bore of the main shaft was taken care of by fitting a cylindrical sleeve.
Intermediate shaft
The intermediate shafts that hold the gear in place often wear out, leading to gear noise and, in later 1.21 gear sets, total gear failure. the high performance shafts fitted are made from 17.4ph material to ensure a long service life.
High capacity oil pan
Available as an optional extra, this oil pan increases oil capacity by 0.6 litres and helps keep the transfer case cool and well lubricated.
Centre differential
Stage 1 : Features a heavy-duty one-piece cross shaft that replaces the weaker two-piece design, a common weak point.
Stage 2 : Incorporates an Ashcroft ATB Limited Slip Diff, a spiral design that optimises torque and drive distribution between the front and rear axles. This provides improved traction and eliminates the weakness of the standard unlocked centre differential, ideal for racing on low traction surfaces.
For this item, we charge an additional deposit of 300.00 euros for your current transfer case.
If you send us your old transfer case, we will refund you the amount of 300.00 euros.
However, this is subject to the condition that the housing is in good condition and the gearbox can still be overhauled.

Repair kit shift linkage / transfer case
The transfer box on a Defender not only transmits the power from the engine two both axles, it also houses the middle diff lock as well as the reduction gearbox. The linkage connecting the transfer box to the low ratio/diff lock stick is naturally prone to heavy wear and tear. The repair kits give you the option to completely replace all worn bushes, bolts and the hexagon screw in the linkage. Nut, washers and SL retaining clips for the bolts are all included.

High-performance silicone hoses for turbochargers and intercoolers
They are suitable for the Land Rover Defender with all diesel engine options as well as for selected models of the Land Rover Discovery 1/2/3 and Range Rover.
The polyester-reinforced silicone hoses are tougher and thicker than the manufacturer's original hoses, making them more suitable for heavy-duty applications (such as towing, performance-enhanced vehicles and desert driving). The operating temperature ranges from -40° to +180° Celsius. The hoses are also designed for higher pressures - this is especially important for performance-enhanced engines. In addition, they do not delaminate or their surface does not peel off.
The colour of the silicone hoses is black.
For the Land Rover Defender TD4 2.2l there are 2 different versions. The correct version can be determined by the chassis number.Up to chassis number ...BA999999 the 4 part version is needed.From chassis number ...CA000000 the 3 part version is needed.

Clutch slave cylinder for Defender TD4
You can choose between a clutch slave cylinder for Defender TD4 up to chassis number 8A999999 and a clutch slave cylinder for Defender TD4 from chassis number 9A000001.ATTENTION: Occasionally, different clutch release bearings may have been fitted by previous owners. If you are not sure which clutch slave cylinder you need for your release bearing, please order the other clutch slave cylinder. You can then test both and return the non-fitting part to us within 4 weeks in its original packaging.
The Glaspack-System for the Land Rover Defender 90/110/130 (from MY 1998) replaces the vehicles muffler with a Glaspack, resulting in less backpressure, better heat transfer and a more sporty sound withour making the car suspciously loud.
The decreased backpressure allows for a more rapid flow of exhaust fumes and thus enhances performance. To increade perfomance further we recommend a sport intake filter, chip tuning and a Straight pipe to replace the CAT.
The diameter messured 90 mm, and is a motorsport accessory. This exhaust does not fulfill the requirements of the StVZO and ist not suitable for street use. The system is available for all generations and all lengths of the defender, custom pieces are possible.

De-cat pipe for Land Rover Defender Td4 2.4 and Td5 2.5 replaces standard catalytic converter and thus reduces back pressure in the exhaust system. Better airflow of exhaust gases and thus better throttle response. In conjunction with other tuning options like K&N performance filter, chip tuning with performance intercooler und performance high-flow main silencer engine power can be increased noticably. Please note our fitting flat-charge! Please note that when fitting a de-cat pipe within the German road law your vehicle approval with be void. The de-cat pipe fits all vehicle lengths (90/110/130). There are different pipes for Td4 (MY 2007-2011) and Td5 (My 2002-2006) engines. The de-cat pipe is not suitable for Defender Td4 2.2 (from MY2012) because of the particulate filter. Please choose the engine type.

EXTREMEspec release bearing strong and reliable
The EXTREMEspec release bearing has been made not only strong and reliable, but also durable by adding a simple feature that allows grease to be used on the surface of the guide tube. Oil rings keep the grease in place and protect it from contamination. This grease barrier not only protects the release bearing, but also the guide tube itself. It also minimises clutch release bearing rattling, a common problem that causes a loud rattling noise at idle due to lack of grease and poor design tolerances.
